Not too bad. Some of the other denizens of the area aside from the Hobbits themselves, were well animated and sometimes amusing. I didn't watch it all, but I guess Gollum is also in it somewhere.

Might have to watch it again.

I watched it and the way they tried to push this main dwarf as Aragorn was silly. Even made him taller and thinner than the other dwarves, makin' him look more human.

Not as great as the Lord of the Rings films but it comes darn near close.

Thorin was known for being taller than the average dwarf you tart

About twice as long as necessary, and there's going to be 2 other parts? Rubbish. The dwarf scene at the beginning in Bilbo's hobbit hole could've been condensed to about 5 minutes.

Dunno, I love the whole "epicness" off it like I did with the LOTR trilogy. Fucking love it ok?

I've only seen the first LOTR and thought it was alright, so I have no need to see the Hobbit. But I wouldn't mind seeing the other 2 LOTR movies sometime.

I think you'll really relate to The Hobbit, dronepool.

Yeah but LotR was actually three thick-ass books that makes a trilogy pretty much a necessity.

The Hobbit was one book that was roughly the length of 1/3 of one of the single LotR books. Just seems wayyy too drawn out.

Don't get me wrong, the movie was still enjoyable, just feels like we're being conned into paying for 3 movies that could easily have been one.

Ya I mean some of it was overlong I guess, it's Jackson doing what he do I spose.

Interested to see if they've added more material into the second two films to lengthen them a bit too.
