Somebody (I forget whom) suggested we do this, so I am setting it up. If it works out we will do a Worst theme song tournament in a similar style.

TPWW Best Theme Song Tournament:

Nominate one song in the thread in these categories:

1) Best Current WWE Theme Song. (2010-2013)
2) Best WWE Theme Song of the 2000-2009.
3) Best WWE Theme Song of the 1990’s
4) Best WWE Theme Song of the 1980s
5) Best NWA theme song of the 1980s.
6) Best WCW Theme song of the 1990s
7) Best WCW/TNA theme song of the 2000’s
8) Best Current TNA Theme Song. (2009-2013)

The top nominated songs in each category will then compete in a tournament in random order.

If there is a tie in the nomination process there will be a brief tiebreaker voting round.

If there is a tie in the tournament they are both eliminated and the other theme will get a bye into the next round.

Feel free to include youtube links of the nominations if you want to.

Voting will end for the nomination round on 4/29 at the end of Raw.

By the 2000s, I mean 2000-2009. So, James Storm would be current theme and Angles would be the other one.

James Storm used that theme in 2007-2008 at least, so it counts as 2000s. Don't care for his newer one.

I didn't know Kurt Angle had a new one post 2009.

Numerous is not a theme. They didn't get the theme everybody associates with the Horseman until 1994.

There is no definitive Horseman theme from the 1980s. So, Horseman votes are Flair votes.

First off it's wikipedia...

There was obviously a 2nd theme somewhere in there. To count all Horsemen votes as a Flair vote is horseshit and makes this entire thing a sham. A better way to fix the situation would be to throw out "Horsemen" votes in the 1980's section if you don't feel they had a theme to be considered.

I'm gonna have to look and research this. I know they did at the Feb. 1990 Clash of the Champions when they kicked Sting's ass out for wanting a title shot against Flair, but I'm gonna have to find something definitive. I'll be back with SOMETHING.

Not the 80s then.

NWA matches sometimes had alot of random music before teams and wrestlers got real theme songs. Generic hard rock beats etc.

also, Horseman didn't use music as a group 'til the early 90's did they? Like I don't even think anybody but Flair would use any music whatsoever for the most part back then
