View Full Version : How does the entire WWE mark forum feel about Slammiversary?

I'm quite sure no one here on this forum ordered Slammiversary.

But among other great things, there was a great "last diva standing match".

Meanwhile, your WWE has completely eliminated any real diva talent.

The WWE should eliminate all cruiserweight competition as well. Oh, the WWE already did that.

Maybe the WWE should get rid of hardcore wrestling? Oh, the WWE already did that when they assumed the "ECW" name and shamed it with pathetic "extreme" wrestling.

At least it's PG right guys? :shifty:

I've been to two TNA shows and they didn't disappoint. Their weekly Impact shows could use some more improvement, but they have the house show interaction down great.

Sting
Hogan (doesn't wrestle often or at all recently)
Chavo
AJ Styles
RVD.

Apparently AJ Styles has changed his moveset and approach to matches and shit. Good on him. It's pretty ballsy to completely reinvent yourself like that. That's why I really admired Jericho's heel turn in 2008. Still probably one of the best character transformations ever.

I liked the Knockouts match a lot. Overall, I heard the whole thing was very good especially the spot where Sting was piledriven on the plywood. People were saying that this event is a high point for TNA.

Now signing Rampage... That's a different story.

Pretty good PPV, but it didn't blow me away. Knockouts match was cool. WWE really fucked up with their treatment of Gail Kim.

Styles/Angle was good, but when compared to some of their other work, it was mediocre at best.

Sting vs Bully was pretty great.

The rest didn't do a whole lot for me.

Here I'll spoil the rest of the story...since it's been done before. Brooke turns on daddy dearest and sides with Bully Ray. Sound familiar? Oh yeah the other version the guy had a group of men with him too.

Gail Kim is one of the WWE's biggest blunders I can recall. Seriously -- I don't understand it when the WWE has a girl who is hot, can wrestle and they don't use her. Maybe she had attitude problems, or something, and she did get to win the Women's Title in her debut. It just seems weird that the WWE seems so shy at using some of the girls they have. AJ Lee broke out, but for ages it seemed like she might have been trapped under the wheels a little bit.

They better get Paige right.

In seriousness though, I half saw an episode of NXT last night cause it was on in the pub for some reason. No sound or anything obviously, but yeah that Paige is banging. I'd give her a good piping.

That Bray Wyatt guy was cutting a promo, would've liked the sound to be on for that, they look sweet. That's my wrestling input for the day.

With her flip-flopping between companies so much, it is obvious she has no loyalty and go wherever they will give her a title belt and mic time to cut horrible promos.

Didn't Gail eliminate herself from a battle royal or something? Pitched a fit because she wasn't going to win, so she just left

Mr. Nerfect
06-09-2013, 04:57 PM
That's what happened. That was really unprofessional of her, and I don't think that sort of conduct should be rewarded, but she was frustrated because the girls weren't being used properly -- she wasn't punished because of it.

Watching the show (not in order) now, loved AJ-Angle, wasn't the best they've had, but it's always awesome to see them together. Loved the main event a lot more than I thought I would, brilliant move destroying the ring and loved the way they used the piledriver. Also, awesome Ultimate X match.

that was when she was out the door of wwe the 2nd time, on wrestlers moving companys i have no problem with that, i liked the old days, in the teratorys. where wrestlers would work a few months and fueds with a promotion then go to another part of the country and work another.
