One of my latest matches, outside of the usual companies I work for. I'll go ahead and say it right now, I'm sorry but there is no trampolines or red tumbling mats for us to work on. Just a good old fashioned "storyline" match.

Well assuming you want feedback here goes;

You did a good job selling the leg. You dropped a pretty sweet elbow. Did some decent stuff.

As far as improvements, I'd suggest doing a little more agility/mobility training. You're a tad clumsy in there (honestly I'm not saying this to be a dick or a snob, you've obviously been working hard and I want to see you succeed), it didn't help that he was way more clumsy and immobile than you.

I like the stache it's pretty badass.

That lockup at the beginning was horrendous, :( I'm sorry man. A big tough guy like you needs to fucking lock horns, it needs to be like two angry bulls clashing. The lockup was very awkward.

You're a big scary guy, you look like you're having a good time out there, but up the intensity, which also applies to the lockup, and most of your offense. A lot of the time everything looked VERY choreographed.

I'd also suggest higher volume training for a little bit to tone up for your look. You don't look horrible by any means, in fact you look in decent enough shape, but you do not stand out. "Decent enough shape" will not make you look like a badass.

All in all though, you haven't been at this that long, and I'm sure you'll keep making improvements, and the fact that you're doing it and obviously having blast is awesome, just some helpful points to turn you into the next big thing ;)

Lot of kids in that audience. I think Newstead has some good advice, actually. Keep at it.

Upon 2nd view I was a little too harsh on the lockup. Still needs a little more oomph but not horrendous. I'd say the biggest problem is that it seemed like you were just doing it cuz you had to since it's a wrestling match. I also liked the little hip toss you did on him to show you had some power.

What I learned from GDN:

"Decent enough shape" =/= badass
stache = badass

...also "badass stache" seems like shirt material. Just saying.
