* Daniel Bryan comes out to kick off SmackDown. He cuts a promo and is very over with the crowd. Kane comes out and Bryan says he's breaking up Team Hell No so he can be tag champions with Randy Orton. Kane says they won't win. Bryan asks if it's because Kane thinks he's the weakest link. Kane chokes Bryan and Orton comes out to stop him. Orton says if Kane hurts Bryan, he hurts his team for Sunday. Orton threatens to RKO Kane. Bryan says he doesn't need help. The Shield appears on the big screen and laughs.

1 - Sheamus vs. Antonio Cesaro - Sheamus wins the match with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus suffered a nasty gash in his back after being thrown into the steel steps. As Sheamus is leaving, Damien Sandow attacks him from behind on the entrance ramp.

2 - Heath Slater beat The Great Khali after hitting a DDT. 3MB distracted Khali and Hornswoggle was involved.

3 - Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho defeated Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston when Del Rio pinned Big E.

*Chris Jericho is backstage talking about his match against CM Punk but is interrupted by Paul Heyman. Jericho says the match will be a rare one and will exceed expectations.

4 - Aksana vs. Kaitlyn is up next. Kaitlyn slaps the referee and Aksana runs away. No winner is announced.

5 - Curtis Axel vs. Wade Barrett is up next. Barrett says they could get hurt so they should wait and fight on Sunday at Payback. The Miz comes out and says everyone wants to see them fight now. Axel pins Barrett to win the match. Miz lays out Axel with a Skull Crushing Finale after the match.

6 - Randy Orton, Kane and Daniel Bryan beat Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose in the main event. Bryan made Rollins tap out to get the win. Lilian Garcia made an announcement that it was the first time The Shield has ever been defeated in six-man action to end the show.

I'm looking forward to Sheamus vs. Cesaro. The gash sounds nasty and was brought up in another set of spoilers I'm reading. That will be a pretty awesome visual and make Cesaro look pretty badass. I just hope there's no backlash for it. I kind of wish Sandow cost Sheamus the match, but I understand why they put The Celtic Warrior over. I like the beat down after the match.

Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler being in a ring together is pretty awesome. Del Rio & Jericho needed to win, but Ziggler needed not to lose, so Langston taking the fall makes sense.

Jericho saying that to Heyman makes me think they have something special planned. Jericho will go into overdrive or something. Or that Punk will actually bail and cause a riot in Chicago. :-\

Would have rather seen AJ Lee vs. Natalya, with Nattie standing up for her best friend. Aksana is not really roster ready. Kaitlyn should have cut a promo pointing out that what AJ said to her where the things Dolph once told AJ, and that she doesn't need a man to give her worth and she's going to kick AJ's ass basically.

I think The Shield will win both of their matches on Sunday after being on the losing on both RAW and SMACKDOWN.

Kane, Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton beating The Shield in the main event was actually the right move, in my opinion. Reading the break-up of Team Hell No segment made me think that Kane, Bryan & Orton could have actually been pulling the wool over The Shield's eyes, so to speak. It also gives false hope to the WWE Universe that The Shield might be going down at Payback.

I'm still hopeful that Bryan and Orton have a miscommunication which leads to Rollins pinning Bryan and then Orton and Bryan arguing, culminating with an RKO to Bryan. D-Bry finds Vince McMahon or Brad Maddox backstage and demands a match with Orton later in the show.

Kane vs. Ambrose can end when Ambrose goes to use an exposed turnbuckle to defeat Kane, but the referee stops him and as he does it up, Kane goes to Chokeslam Ambrose, but gets low-blowed and then hit with Ambrose's finisher for the pin. Another victory over Kane would mean a lot for Ambrose. Maybe Orton and Bryan can be too busy fighting as Rollins and Reigns then hit the ring and go to beat down Kane further. You can have their beat-down successful, or you can have the lights go off, a gong sound, and The Undertaker appear in the ring and fend off The Shield with Kane. Or imagine if The Shield put Kane out and then he and The Undertaker returned together.

Hey, the theme of the show is "Payback," and The Shield did put Undertaker out. Stereo Tombstones to Ambrose and Rollins could be a nice little treat for the Chicago audience.

Team Gorm shuns modern inventions and keeps it real by using vcrs, cassette tapes and rotary dial phones. So......should I tape this shit?

Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Randy Orton defeated The Shield. Yes, you read that right. The Shield actually got a pretty good pop. Orton got a HUGE pop. Bryan got lots of YES! chants. Bryan and Rollins started us off. The Shield alienated Bryan early. There was a fake hot tag to Orton, leading to the cut off and more Shield dominance for a while.

They took turns working him over. Kane got a hot tag, followed quickly by a Bryan tag. Bryan began cleaning house and the arena exploded. Kane threw Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose over the barricade, Seth Rollins ate a mid-air RKO, and Bryan slapped on the Yes! Lock for the win. In tribute to the late, great Gorilla Monsoon, this place has gone bananas!! There was a big celebration in the ring between Bryan, Kane, and Orton to end the show

Guess that means last week's attack by Orton really was just him acting like a dick to Bryan than anything teasing a heel turn.

Match sounds great and another instance of both Team Hell No and the Shield providing quality matches every week.

They shouldn't have "wasted" The Shield's first six-man loss on a Smackdown. At least do it on RAW.

That being said, I am definitely tuning into Smackdown now.

LOL, whoever wrote the report apparently doesn't get that slapping an official is a DQ. Unless the match never started or something. Then its probably a no contest.
