another immense Wyatt Family VP
the way Justin Roberts says "United States" still offends my ears
my day improves by 10-12% every time Ambrose shows up
still crazy that's he wrestling Kane whilst holding and presumably retaining a singles title on a WWE PPV
something something unnecessary whining about the Twitter scroll at the bottom of the screen something something
prettyyyy "lackluster" match :(
RVD already worth more from that one VP than anything from his entire TNA run
Sheamus worked the pre-show? oofah
very much looking forward to this Dolph/Del Rio match
Ziggler looks fantastic, gotta say
like where this is going, was very good when they did that test run on RAW god knows how long ago against Swagger I think with Dolph doing the "plucky injured guy" schtick, perfect guy for that role
notice how when they're really trying to get something over, King shuts the fuck up
hint: it's because he's pretty terrible nowadays :(
JBL on the other hand is consistently brilliant #StateTheObvs
damn that Osaka street cutter/reverse suplex gimmick from the buckles
fantastic storytelling right here

JBL is great at getting the storylines of the match over
normally get a bit tired of Del Rio doing the leg slap for seemingly every single bit of offense but it served a real purpose in this, some of those kicks looked amazing
AJ killing it/"doing her part" as well
feel like they got in the back and somebody was all "go back out and say blah blah blah" to hammer home the angle, easy to "officially turn him" now after that asking for support bit, "and you booed me" etc
lol most muted Jericho pop in Chicago ever probably
JBL is great at getting the storylines of the match over
really is
every Punk PPV match should take place in Chicago
Punk kind of using the butterfly guard in the corner #GracieJiuJitsu
Punk even selling ring rust, looks fucking BLOWN UP but fairly sure that's not the case. Heyman's been practically invisible as well, especially compared to the Axel match. Says everything
completely understand why the do it and things like it but I wish they'd stop the refs counting shoulders during "signature" submissions
Punk firing up/switching gears like a star
Danielson sitting in the back all ":(" seeing Jericho doing the elbow strikes
lol amazing shot of Punk in the Walls and Heyman screaming in the background
Cole fixing a botched JBL call, that's a new one
dunno how every indy wrestler from ROH to in front of 12 people doesn't see that match and notice the difference between "doing a bunch of random near falls" and that match
Innovator
06-17-2013, 10:42 AM
They'll just see the kick out of finishers deal
Danielson no longer caring about the elbow strikes after getting "the superstar entrance"
lol even building towards a Daniel Bryan hot tag, guy must be on fire
awwwwkward looking t-bone
I laughed for "flying goat" followed by "this could be baaaaa-d" gotta say :o
top rope double underhook looked "sickkkkk"
last 90 seconds/2 minutes of that match were possibly the best part of the show
hey Alex Riley and Ted DiBiase aren't dead
lol everything about Ryback is better as a heel, looks like a fucking killer
ahahaha how slowly Sandow fell over when Cena got press slammed over the top rope
Wade Barrett punching random Usos
Cena does a dive. Have seen it all now.
was actually pretty great tbf

Wonder what Frank Drebin is thinking right now.
Frank Drebin stole the show......and CSL's girlfriend :p
the more I see that dive, the better it gets
Frank Drebin stole the show......and CSL's girlfriend :p
liesssss, I only go for women that like their blokes in at least 16-bit colour
Ryback putting every guy that's ever tried to get the ring steps from the floor over the top rope to shame right there

Show was fun. Crowd was hot as usual for Chicago. Into pretty much every match except the main event.
AJ got a nice pop. Multiple "Let's go AJ" chants. Massive boo for Layla.
Del Rio got major heat, and Ziggler a big pop. Immediate "Lets go Ziggler" when the match started. Not sure how that came over on tv, but crowd was all over Del Rio through the match and during the post-match promo.
Huge pop for the RVD promo. Some guy got so excited he spilled his beer behind me. It did give me a chance to turn around and look at this drunk hot chick with great jugs who was yelling "I want to bone youuuuuu!!" for CM Punk later on, causing the 7-8 year old kid in front of me to turn around and look at her in awe.
Bryan was way over. Crowd was going nuts for him throughout the match.
Crowd was mostly apathetic for the main event. Handfuls of people leaving to beat traffic.
ambulance horn trying to get itself over in this match

Real Chicago ambulances are built much better than that one......I hope.
Cena playing the role of J.O.B Bluth. Should have played The Final Countdown when Ryback disappeared
every time that siren plays I really want Scott Steiner to show up, fuck logic

I <3 CSL
My thoughts on the apparent double turn: Ricardo should not have been supportive of Rel Rio if Del Rio is supposed to turn heel. The crowd didn't want to boo Ricardo. No one wants to boo Ricardo. Ricardo is awesome. The best way to cement a heel turn, IMO, would have been for Ricardo to try to separate Del Rio & Ziggler after the match, and perhaps even check on Ziggler. Ricardo giving Del Rio a look of disgust/horror while Del Rio just smiled and posed with the title would have been perfect.

Dunno. I think that would have been gash.

Pretty great show last night. MUCH better than Extreme(ly lame) Rules. Bastards even made me care about a fucking DIVAS match. Genuinely felt really sad and upset for poor Kaitlyn. Sure, it was easy to see JBL, Cole and King’s view that she cost herself, but they came off as sounding (to me, anyway), like they were puttig all the blame on her, all while at the same time conveniently ignoring/forgetting the fact of AJ using her belt as a weapon on Kaitlyn while the ref was “pre-occupied”.
Didn’t really give a shit about the U.S. or Tag title matches, but the rest was pretty spectacular, including the reveal of R.V.D.’s return July 14th at MiTB, and of course Punk’s return last night and huge hometown win. :D
8/10.

RVD should wrestle Curtis Axel in a "who can be more boring" match.

Actually, even as a non-RVD fan I can't put him on that level of boringosity. Axel wins in a squash.

I find it hard to believe that one man jumping could cause an entire mob to fall down, especially when that mob consists of such muscle as Tensai, Brodus Clay, Antonio Cesaro, Kane, Sheamus, Tius O'Neil, Big E etc....

Just want to point out, I've been speaking of an RVD return forever. So fuck all of you jumping on the bandwagon. All two of you!!!!! :foc:

Only Cena can take out around 25 men with a single splash.
Cool King's reaction to AJ winning the Diva's Title:

Cena used Splash! It's Super Effective!
Splash can't ever be super effective. It doesn't deal damage.
We can probably assume that wrestlers are Fighting types, so they're weak to Flying. So...
Cena used Sky Attack! It's super effective!
Not only is that a Flying move, but that move takes a turn to charge up, and Cena took a while setting up for that. So it fits quite well.

That's the joke. That SuperCena uses Splash, a move that does no damage, and kills 13 people with it.
