So the other day, I was watching an old episode of Monday Nitro, and I noticed something that I hadn't picked up on until juuust then, even though I watched WCW all the time back in the day. It's not even a major thing, but one that made me do a genuine Keanu Reeves "whoah" when realizing it.

Back in the day, Raven while he was in WCW pretty frequently wore a T-shirt with the character Morpheus/"Dream" from the comic book series Sandman.

A couple years earlier in ECW, who were Raven's biggest arch-enemies? Dreamer and Sandman.

Intentional, or funny coincidence? Either way, it got me thinking about whether there were other factoids that I've missed over the years. Anybody else ever have a moment like that?

Another Raven-related moment: When I realized he has the Starman logo tattooed on his shoulder. I don't know if he got it while still in WWE, or afterwards.

I don't know, but this popped into my head. I think I've said it somewhere, but I'll say it again:

In the WWE, Nick Dinsmore was called up to the WWE to play a mentally challenged character by the name of "Eugene Dinsmore" (although the surname was never emphasised. This character was revealed to be the kayfabe son of Eric Bischoff's sister -- making him the nephew to the RAW General Manager.

In TNA, referee Jackson James revealed himself to be the son of Eric Bischoff and would end up betraying his father and becoming a good guy. Garett Bischoff has trained under The Nasty Boys to become a professional wrestler and is now a member of The Aces & Eights.

Now, in the kayfabe world of professional wrestling, this would make Garett Bischoff and Eugene Dinsmore cousins.

Kayfabe relationships like that always interest me.

* Hornswoggle is a fourth generation Superstar, given that he was revealed to be the son of Fit Finlay. He is also a former General Manager of RAW and was involved in a sexual relationship with AJ Lee, who is also a former General Manager of RAW.

* Jinder Mahal is still married to The Great Khali's sister, I believe. I wonder if she hangs out with 3MB.

* Remember when Jamie Noble and Nunzio were "cousins?"

* Lita was once married to Kane, which meant that she was the sister-in-law of The Undertaker. Now she is in a real-life relationship with CM Punk, and they were seen at the Hall of Fame ceremony together. The following night CM Punk would face his girlfriend's former brother-in-law at WrestleMania.

* Edge & Christian were once billed as "brothers." While that relationship has been amended to "best friends," for a while it was weird to think of Christian as the brother-in-law to Vickie Guerrero.

I remember when they were building to this. Knoble was feuding with someone and would say to Nidia something about "Cousin Nunzio" will sorting this problem. Thinking "which musclehead will they call up now?", the next week out comes 'Little Guido', now going by the name Nunzio. I was like :love::love::love::love:

That you really can't powerbomb Kidman

I remember going to a WCW house show where Kidman was wrestling Chris Benoit. The entire match, I kept yelling at Benoit to not try and powerbomb Kidman, because he WILL flip out of it.

Eventually, Benoit set Kidman up for a powerbomb. I yelled "NOOOOOOOOO!" and he looked RIGHT AT ME before successfully powerbombing Kidman. I know that spot was just for me.

Did not realize "The Disciple", was Brutus Beefcake until long after WCW folded, and I watched WCW every week.

Doink the Clown being played by several different people and it was due to the original Doink (Matt Osborne) didn't want to change as a face wrestler.

Never noticed it as a kid since they all looked almost the same except for the green wig having different styles once in a while.
