Mine is Hogan vs Rock Wrestlemania 18.

This is an instance where the crowd added so friggen much to the match. Canadian crowds are the greatest

Mine is still the hart / michaels ironman match at WM 12, mainly for nostalgic reasons.

Real close seconds are taker / michaels at WM 25 and 26,

Real close thirds are benoit / angle at RR '03, angle / lesnar at WM 19 and maybe SS '03

I was at that Rasslemania and the crowd made that match b/c of me. Best match ever was that ERAG match from last year. Am I rite Owenbrown?

The Undertaker Vs The Game Triple H at WrestleMania X-7.

I know this a controversial choice but I liked it way better than the rematch and even better than the main event of Rock/Austin. Maybe its because I was young back then but I remember being ballistic bout seeing this match. And I really thought Taker was gonna lose...

That's such a good one too. I like when Mankind just hits himself in the knee with a spike or pen or whatever. Showed how insane he was supposed to be.

The first one that comes to mind is Austin v. Hart, WM13.

Also, anything with HBK and Taker besides Rumble 1998 (Ground Zero, Hell In A Cell, WM25, WM26).

HBK v. Mankind is a very great pick, too. Made HBK do something he didn't do a lot in 1996, and it was fun to watch.

I always enjoyed Shawn Michaels v. Vader from SummerSlam 1996, as well. As a kid watching, I thought Vader was unbeatable. It was a great match, botched elbow drop and all.

But since we're saying "favorite" and not "greatest," I'll leave it to Shawn Michaels v. Shelton Benjamin from RAW back in the day. Quick TV match, but holy hell those guys tore it up.

No idea. Probably something like Mankind vs The Rock - I quit match or Austin vs Vince in a steel cage since they seem to stand out in my mind as being the most fun I ever had watching wrestling.

HHH/Austin at No Way Out 2001
HBK/HHH at SummerSlam 2002
HBK/HHH/Benoit at WrestleMania XX (**Forever tarnished though.)
HBK/Cena at WrestleMania 23

Those 3 matches are what wrestling is all about to me.

James Steele

The last 2 minutes of HBK/Cena crushed my soul. Never felt so drained after a PPV. I was absolutely positive and convinced that Shawn Michaels was going to become WWE Champion.

On the other side of the coin, I literally couldn't stop smiling after WrestleMania XX. That ending, while now ruined, was the absolute happiest I have ever felt watching pro wrestling. It was a beautiful story because it was real. JR screaming about Benoit's 20 year odyssey and how Benoit and Guerrero had traveled the world together and finally had taken their rightful spots on top of the wrestling world. You couldn't write a happier moment nor a more heart-breaking ending both to the PPV and the ultimate end of these men's lives.

HBK/HHH and HHH/Austin are just both beautifully brutal matches that tied into deep and meaningful feuds that hooked me as a fan. I still believe HBK/HHH is the greatest feud of all time. They never had a match that wasn't at least really good, and most of them were great.

Hogan/Rock

Though I'm biased because I was there. LIve, it was like no match you've ever seen in your life. Emotional doesn't begin to describe the crowd there. My buddy, who's a big legitamitly tough dude, had tears rolling down his face by the end.

Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13 is probably my favorite match ever.

As far as favorite "match" or "segment" goes, since I don't know if you could qualify it as an actual match is Roddy Piper vs Goldust in the Hollywood Backlot Brawl at WM 12. I watch it like once a month. Cracks me up big time every time I watch it.

It's not as bad as people might make it out to be. The Raw rematch was much better though which kinda taints it for me in hindsight.
