I dug out ECW One Night Stand 2005 (the original and better of the two) last night. Why was Eddie seemingly pissed off all through the match with Chris *bleep*oit? He completely no-sold *bleep*oit's Crippler Crossface at the end of the match... he didn't struggle to get out of the hold, just lay there as if it were having no effect and tapped out non chalantly.

Was he peeved that he was booked to lose the match or was there another reason?

He was a former WWE Champion and Benoit was a former World Heavyweight Champion, so he thought that he was better than him and did not wish to tap out to a secondary world champion.

The often grumpy Eddie Guerrero was very unhappy with the finish for his match against Chris Benoit at the ECW PPV. He’s said to have never really gotten into the event as a whole.

After the match, there were some very heated words exchanged between Guerrero and Chris Benoit as a result of how the match went, and how unhappy Guerrero was with the finish.

Guerrero was also upset with the crowd chanting at Edge during the opening minutes of his match against Benoit.
