what would Owen Hart be doing right now? Where would his career have taken him?

I don't think he ever would have became WWF Champ unless he wrestled well into the brand split, but I think he would have had a good long feud with Kurt in 2000. His IC Reign went to Jarret so hopefully that would not mean he would be jobbing to Chyna.

How old would he be today?

Almost 50.

Allegedly, according to HHH, the "Game" moniker was in the pipeline for Owen in late '99. I would assume there was at least a title shot or two down the line depending on how it went.

And he'd probably be retired for about 8-10 years by now.

I would have thought that he would have at least won a world title, I would have loved for him to be involved in the Un - Americans.

He'd be a moderator on TPWW.net.

He wasn't as good in the ring as Bret was, different style and all, but he was way better on the microphone. I would guess that he would have made it huge.

I believe I've read reports that he wasn't planning on going for longer than a few more years, as he wanted to retire to spend more time with his family.

So basically you'd want him to do the same damn thing he was doing years before.

Probably would have helped TNA get started along with Jeff Jarret

I think a feud with a returning Shawn Michaels at his first Wrestlemania back in 03 could have occurred.

"The Game" gimmick as stated before .... I assume he would have done that.

Can't imagine Owen as The Game.

Trips put over Chyna due to dating her, so whether Jarett would have feuded with Owen instead of Chyna is difficult to say because the plan to have her feud with Mankind was also scrapped. I reckon Chyna would have partnered with Jarrett to give him the title at Survivor Series and that Owen would then feud with Foley while HHH continued his <del>feud with</del> squash of Test for a duration more fitting of a man who stole another man's fiance.

Receiving the IC Title right when his contract would have expired in October would convince to Jarrett to remain in the WWE. Then, Chyna would successfully challenge Jarrett for the IC title at the Royal Rumble to make a bigger deal out of the intergender title change. Angle defeats Chris Jericho at RR to become #1 contender for IC and then defeats Chyna at WrestleMania 2000 for the title.

Trips would defeat Owen at the Rumble before Owen wins the four-way match at WM 2000 when he replaces Foley in that match because Mick is feuding with someone or another, maybe Jarrett if Marc Mero still doesn't return to WWE by this point to feud with Jarrett in a battle of "former woman hater" vs. "current woman hater"!

I miss Owen :(

I'm sure he would have won at least one world title. I liked him better than Bret. He had more charisma, especially as a heel. much better on the stick

I'm sure he would have retired, early on. Maybe early 2000's. He would have come back to the WWE as a Trainer backstage guy after a few years. I have a hunch Bret would not have gotten wrecked by Goldberg (because life is random like that) and eventually in 2010, when Bret actually did come back, it would have meant something other than appearance and they would have thrown Owen and Bret together for a couple tag matches like they did with the NAO.

Definitely agreed about Owen being a trainer.

Can't imagine Owen as The Game.

Continuing the WWE trend of rekindling year-old feuds which had gone on hiatus, Owen would feud with HHH sometime in 2000 and debut the sledgehammer as a means of fighting back against all the tricks used by Trips (handcuffs, white powder, Stephanie distracting the ref). This creates a blood feud which Hart wins by a Hell in the Cell victory.

I also imagine would Owen feud with Austin again, but in the WWE Title scene, as part of "The Game's shit list" due to Stone Cold making the quest for #1 contender a personal vendetta over Hart never kayfabe apologizing for breaking Austin's neck.

I've heard that too. When he done with whatever he was doing, he'd race to the first plane home to his family. I could see him teaching a wrestling school (maybe call it The Dungeon) or maybe be a gym teacher. At least he became IC champ.
