Thanks to Heyman for the idea...
Anyway,
Who Will Win The "RAW #1 Contendership Battle Royal"
I say Chris Jericho.
He won't win the title match *rolls eyes and tries to figure out where Vince McMahon Lives)
I think that Chris Jericho is needed badly in the Main Event scene right now...
Benoit needs "fresh meat" to cement is "legit champion" role. I think Christian will cost Jericho the title match (DQ most likely) and pick up where they left up.
All of evolution is in the battle royal... which i think makes it likely they will lose (WWE Isn't That Stupid Are They?).
Anyway...
It will be down to Christian, Jericho and HHH.
Finish: Jericho/Christian fighting each other by the ropes and HHH goes for the kill and Jericho pulls the rope down and X-Tian and HHH both are eliminated.
Right now the current plan is for Kane to face Benoit at Badd Blood, so the battle royal is the most logical way to put him in the main event scene, yet it'll completely disregard the God-awful feud with him and Matt Hardy.
Personally I'd have Jericho win it and have a face vs. face title match at Badd Blood and have Benoit retain, but put Jericho over in the main event scene once again and hopefully give him a solid spot.
Kane is just a once decent character gone hoss, and if the specualtion is true and he does win, then Badd Blood is going to be about as thrilling as Judgment Day with Benoit vs. Kane and the overdone HHH vs. HBK match. Also Edge will be worked into an upper midcard match and give his usual lackluster performance topped by Tajiri vs. Garrison Cade...ooooooooooooo!

I pray to god not...
Jericho and Christian are hotter than ever, Christian is now to the point that he is way more than "Edge's Brother". He has more heat than edge ever has had. ( 12 y.o. girls love Edge for some reason)
And everybody knows (yes... even Vince knows) that Jericho and Benoit have classic matches every time they step into the ring together. Badd Blood needs a 5-Star Match to headline that is a little refreshing. Jericho is one of the 2 biggest name in the battle royal that is not HHH. Ric Flair and Chris Jericho are the real only viable contenders because Kane has been pissed on so much over the past 2 years that Dr. Issac Yankem could get a better shot at the World Title.
Unless, Matt costs Kane the title match at BB and pushes him to the main event scene ( i wish ).

It's obvious HBK will come through the crowd and eliminate HHH.Kane and Matt Hardy/Lita have a feud going on right now so I don't see Kane winning.I'm going with Jericho.

<font color=#33ffff>I SWEAR this has already been posted.
Anyway, I reckon (hopefully) Y2J will get the win.</font>

<font color=goldenrod>There was another thread exactly like this one.
But anyway, I was the first one to say Jericho in that thread, so I'm saying him again here.
Oh yeah, and Steven Richards is my pick for the guy who will get eliminated within 30 seconds of the battle royal starting (seriously, there's ALWAYS someone that gets eliminated right from the get-go)</font>

I say Jericho... I think the WWE needs better and more guys on the top tiers competing for the title. Who better than Y2J? The fans love him, and his in-ring work is just awesome.
If I had a second choice, I'd go with Orton. Not cuz he's my favorite guy on Raw, but because it puts Orton over Hunter and signals the breakup of Evolution, which alot of people are looking for at this time.
Anyway, back to Jericho. He gets his title shot whenever. Jericho has the Walls of Jericho locked in on Benoit, or maybe even going for a Lionsault, when Christian and Tyson Tomko come out and take care of Benoit and Jericho. That leads to a tag match on the next raw, and thus the opening match of Tomko, and the opening of a feud between Christian and Benoit. Jericho can try and put Tomko over by jobbing(hopefully not) or over selling Tomko's stuff to make him look like a real hoss. Christian jobs to Benoit at a raw to further Benoits angle as "for real". Trips prolly takes the belt the PPV after that one, just because..
EDIT: This probably wouldn't happen because people don't see Christian main eventing. But it's a solution to this Problem Solver for Christian crap.

I say Kane. They seriously need a huge monster heel right now and they need more top heels because Triple H ain't going to be around for much longer since he is doing all these movies.

Nah really, Jericho should win it, but I doubt he will.
My bets are on Jericho. Yup, somthing makes me think that him and the CLB are gonna be the final 2.

Final 4 situation 1: 2 Faces, 2 heels.
Faces: Jericho, Edge
Heels: Christian, HHH
Final 4 situation 2: 1 Face, 3 heels.
Face: Edge
Heels: Christian (If Jericho ain't there, Xian will be), HHH, Orton.
I still get the feeling that Evolution will be dominant in this whole thing, but for some reason I don't think Batista and Flair will last as long as we all expect them to.

If they're smart, they'll give it to Jericho, since he's coming off a hot win in the Christian feud and ready to step back up into the main event again, and Kane is still doing that feud with Matt and Lita. But they probably think having Benoit beat a bigger monster heel like Kane will make him look more impressive than if he put on a classic bout with Y2J, so they'll more likely have Kane win.

Jericho is my pick while Kane could be the overall winner and Edge would be the Wild Card from the way that he is being pushed.

He got one at Survivor Series 02 and Summerslam 03, but yeah, he needs another one.

the spot they are in is that there arent any real big main event heels to challenge beniot, theyve done hhh-beniot to death now they almost have to have a face vs face fued until they built up a Kane or Christian more
That Leaves two Choices Edge or Jericho, Im goin with Jericho due to comin off the Christian Fued and needed a direction

Edge or Jericho.
Personally, I dont see the point in Jericho winning, and having a face v face at the next PPV.
Edge winning however, this could make a nice heel turn for him, not neccasarilly turning that night, but maybe a revenge attack the next night. And it will also create some extra drama with the whole tag champions fighting etc...

Chris Jericho or Orton.
