Jacked this from the front page...

"At this time, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards are no longer under contract with Ring of Honor.

The two are expected to go to the WWE Performance Center sometime in September for an evaluation by WWE."

What do you guys think?
Tag Team?
Singles competitors?
Vanilla midgets for Gertner to shit on?

Probably not thread worthy but oh well. I'm bored.

They are probably the two worst examples of the ROH "do seventy finishers in a match" style.

Davey Richards is horrible. Blond highlighted tips belong in '96 boy bands. Queer.

No, just no.

Wait, i'm thinking of McGuinnes.

Fuck Davey Richards anyway. If I wanted to see 60 mins of kicks I'd watch a JCVD straight to DVD film.

American Wolves? WTF kind of name for a team is that?!

Should be called the Dire Wolves because those are a thing that is cool and it also describes the team pretty well.

"American Males" is a much better team name.

Never even seen these guys before, but that's a pretty cool name. Not really sure where you're finding a problem with it.

These guys are the textbook definition of vanilla midgets. They're a decent tag team, but I don't really see the need.

Both will have to change their styles up drastically. I hate 35 minute matches with 700 head kicks without someone getting KOed.

I was at the show when they debuted. I liked them. Haven't seen them since, though.

They should hire some kind of interview coach like Jericho so their promos can finally kick ass.

Ill take the Dancing Black Men, the Dancing Somoans, and the Racist Americans over this shit vanilla midget spotfest team anyday.

You guys realize that WWE isn't going to let them do the spotfest shit, right?

That's probably why they are being sent to the performance center. To adapt to the WWE style. I'm not gonna bitch about anything til I see what they do in a WWE ring.

Malfeitor

Yeah, what Fignuts said.

It'll be interesting to see nevertheless. I'm sure a lot of people had no hope for Daniel Bryan but look at him now. Not saying it's guaranteed that they will reach his level but it's possible.

OK - But thats all they have done in their careers so in discussing if we care that they are going to the WWE, what do yo expect?

"Oh yeah cant wait to see them in NXT despite me never seeing a thing I liked of t heirs".

If the WWE signed the Ants from Chikara and everyone just shit on their stupid gimmick, would that not be valid?

Never said I was excited. Just that there's no point in getting upset about it. If they are capable of putting on good matches without a bazillion finishers, they'll be on tv. If not, they'll get future endeveared, and you won't have to worry about it.

A mouthpiece like Heyman or Zeb would fix their mic problems.

As a positive male, not bitter at the world or jealous of anybody, I'd like to wish these two men the best of luck in what they choose to do. Reach for the stars everybody.

I honestly haven't seen much of their work. I'm with Fignuts on this one. I'd rather they come in as a tag team that actually looks like they are meant to be together.

If they kept the American Wolves name in WWE, they can go up against Swagger and Cesaro. I'm sure you could come up with a scenario, Noid.

For some reason until I just checked his wiki page now, I thought Davey Richards was British.

WWE’s latest tryout camp started up last week on Wednesday at the new Performance Center in Orlando. Two sessions were held on Wednesday and a long session was held on Thursday.

Bill DeMott ran the camp with judges that included Joey Mercury, Norman Smiley, Terry Taylor, Gerald Brisco and William Regal. We’re told 30 wrestlers were brought in for the camp in total.

Former ROH stars Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards were described as “standing out of everyone” based on early reports from the camp. Edwards and Richards are no longer under official contracts with Ring of Honor as we reported earlier here on the website.

I probably could, but I don't think they'd keep the American Wolves name. I'd like to see them as technical wrestlers who just kick a lot of ass. Call them Eddie Eagle and Ricky Phoenix or something terrible like that. In NXT you've got quite a few tag teams -- Corey Graves & Adrian Neville, The Ascension, LeFort's guys -- they could play rivals to those teams quite easily. Also sign The Briscoes as annoying rednecks and let them have a series of matches against each other.
