Should he?

Yes, after Mr. Perfect and Rick Rude.

Definitely in 15 years or so on the under side of the class. Great character and revolutionary in the time. Based on gimmick alone he goes in.

Not only should they induct him, but when they build the physical HoF, they should do a life-sized mockup of he and "Marlena" (cigar is mandatory).

Without a doubt.

Oh, and bonus points if they're posed with the Goldust director's chair.

Yes, after Mr. Perfect and Rick Rude.

Perfect is in there already, kemosabe.

But yeah, definitely. Amazing worker, revolutionary gimmick, and as he proved tonight, some pretty impressive longevity. Wouldn't wait 15 years, maybe 5 tops from when he really stops wrestling.

For sure but I don't want to see him get in any time soon cuz after watching tonight's match it's clear that dude still has it.

Better question is if WWE should bring him back full time.

He is really talented, always has been. He should come back and be a solid midcarder. I don't know why they always let him go to waste

Problem is he has a history of unreliability. I wouldn't mind having him around for a while (Goldust vs Sandow would be fucking sweet) but it may be up to him at this point.

He should win the IC belt one more time and defend it at WM30.

He absolutely should.

I'd be inclined to bring him back for a short run as Dustin Rhodes/Runnels as part of HHH's group, have him sell out his brother for the opportunity of one more "second chance".

For sure.

Also, has he ever been an agent / producer / trainer? Might make a good one, eh?

Yes. Goldust rules.

Yes he should. I always thought that he should have at least had a program for the wwf title.

Yeah, he came up with the finisher that the Prime Time Players used that nearly broke Yoshi Tatsu's neck. That was the end of him as a producer.

Always felt Goldie was under-appreciated, his early stuff, especially with Razor and Ahmed was brilliant.

It's a shame the powers-that-be stuck him with that horrible stuttering gimmick, and then left him floundering in lower-mid card purgatory for the better part of the past decade.

Yes.

He wouldn't be a marquee or headliner type name but he was really good as a midcarder and one of the more memorable gimmicks from his time. Either that or as part of a potential Rhodes family induction.

And yeah, he was a big deal during the mid 90s, he's always been a solid worker even before that so I think it's more a case of when not if.

It was rumoured he was let go from his agent role due to this, though around the same time he was attacking "fans" on Twitter, launching some pretty offensive tirades against anyone who mentioned Black Reign to him. I don't think there was ever an official statement made on his release.

It isn't based on their WWE runs alone otherwise half of the inductees would be on par with Koko, it's based on their overall accomplishments in the industry, IE the territories.

This is still a terrible argument.

He's not even remotely close to the worst one in the Hall. Johnny Rodz, Bret Hart and BaronMikel Scicluna are all far worse than Koko.

Isn't besmirching a Hart a hanging offense in Canada?

Yes, he should.

I've been saying that Goldust should be and eventually will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for years now.

That family is almost as big a mess as the Von Erich's. Nobody in Canada will dare bring that up though. Except me because I'm a shooter who's too extreme for Canada.

Goldust will be one of those guys who gets into the HoF either to fill out the 'class' roster a little bit, or if they do, like, an "all Intercontinental Champions" class one day, which I'd assume would also have to include Mr. Perfect, Rick Rude, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, and probably Christian once they're all retired.

That said, he definitely deserves the recognition. He's an excellent performer with one of the most memorable gimmicks ever.
