Thinking of picking up a couple. A few seem quite interesting. Anybody watch any of them before? Definitely getting WWF 1997: Jim Cornette. Thinking of buying WWE: 1977/78: Superstar Billy Graham. George the Animal Steele's 1986 and Greg Valentine's 1985 both look good too, as does Barry Windham 1991 WCW. Don't want to buy ones with guys you know are full of it like Brutus Beefcake, Honky Tonk, Sandman and Russo, even though Russo's might be good for a laugh.

Russo actually talks a lot of sense in these things, and comes across well.

The excerpts that I've seen of Cornette's have been fun to watch.

You can't go wrong with Cornette. If you don't have them already, pickup the guest booker DVD of Jim Cornette as well as his YouShoot. I really liked the guest booker of Cornette cause he re-books the Invasion angle in WWF from 2001 but he also throws in some shoot work too. Just a good DVD to have
Also, if you want the comedy aspect only, anything to do with the Iron Sheik is funny as hell. I do believe Kayfabe Commentaries did do a feature with the Iron Sheik. Not sure which one though. I think it's a YouShoot.

Yeah I've seen Shiek's youshoot and Corny's guest booker. I read a review of Russo's so I kinda spoiled it for myself. Leaning towards Cornette and Graham.

Cornette is the best shoot interview alive. Always tells the truth and shoots it straight.

Ended up buying SBG and Cornette's. Apparently Cornette brings his agent notebook with him. So jacked to get these. Graham's opinions of Backlund in the trailer I watched hooked me, especially how he and Bruno were extremely close to doublecrossing Backlund. Fuck I can't wait for these. Gonna probably pick up Greg Valentine 1985 and Larry Zbyzko 1980 next. Larry doesn't think to highly of Backlund as champ either. My knowledge of the WWE pre 1983 is limited so it'll be nice to hear a bunch of new things.

Sent in a question from TPWW. They used it.

Wait, do they're shoot interviews with guys just covering a one or two year span? Seems like a waste. Except maybe with Cornette who will probably go on rants covering tons of shit that isn't part of the subject.

It's extremely interesting, and I usually find these things kinda dull. Not so much a shoot interview, but more of a history lesson. Watch the trailers.

has anyone seen the 1988 Timeline with JJ Dillon?
I wondered if it was any good as I wanna see it.

It's on my list, right after Billy Graham and Larry Z.

Watched the Kevin Nash 1995 timeline. Amazing! Nash is tremendous.

Watched Ivory's 2001. She's great. Talks a bit too much, but very entertaining.
Rikishi's 2000. Rikishi is delusional. Out of his damn mind.
Finlay's 2006. Finlay is a bit dry. Calls Kevin Dunn a genius. Cornette probably shit himself.
Cornette is the greatest thing I've ever seen lol. 1997. Brings his agent notes. Fucking mint. Would love to see him do 1996.
15 posts to mention the Nash one :( like everything he's a part of, YouShoot, In The Ring With, podcasts and so forth, if it features Big Kev, it's the best of the bunch. Guy made wine tasting watchable

Cornette's is good, I really liked Al Snow's a lot too - what he says in the Guest Booker segment was great stuff. :y:
The one Russo Kayfabe Commentaries video I saw was a live one, and it seemed like everyone in the audience was afraid to really ask him any good questions...just a lot of shallow compliments and people agreeing with whatever he had to say.
