View Full Version : Should Goldust return full time?

After last night, it's more than clear that he still has a lot left to give and if he were signed would be immediately one of the better wrestlers on the mid-card. He's got so much history to make story lines out of, he's extremely over with the crowd still... and more importantly HE'S GOOD FOR BUSINESS.
Should he return full time? Does he return full time? And if he does, what do you see in store for him?

Short run maybe but definitely not full time.

He's kinda run his course. Not much he can do now without holding other younger wrestlers down.

He could put them over...

Yeah but that's about all that's left for him.

Not that a win over Goldust really counts for much

Build a meaningful feud...and it would mean more....

For 3MB it would do wonders

No but similar to both whiteyford and Shadrick, a Jericho-like short run where he helps out others needing some star development would be a better idea.

Road agent, he can still work a crowd and tell a great story, knowledge that should be passed onto the next gertneration.
I've been an advocate for a Dustin/Cody feud for a couple years now and with the recent stuff I'd be all for Dustin selling-out his younger brother for another chance at the limelight. I think a heated and brutal feud between them could even fit on Mania. Have him do that then retire.

don't see him doing full time but i am wondering how this story will turn out, will we get a dusty vince fued from the 70's nwa-wcw vs wwe fight, or will ric flair join trips and we get another flair roads fued

I might be in the minority, but I would like to see a "Lonestar" or "the Natural" Dustin Rhodes comeback. Basically, I'd like to see him comeback like he was at the end of WCW as just a big mean cowboy. I thought it would be kinda badass to have him tag team with his brother, kinda be Cody's muscle when he was a heel.

Inno knows.

I'd like to see him back, just don't know if he'd get what he wants out of it, and if the fans would get what they want out of a full time return. He'd soon be relegated to Superstars again.

Maybe not full-time. I would enjoy an occasional appearance and match from the guy, though, since he can still do great things. Full-time might be a strain on him. Why not use him down in NXT? His father is the General Manager down there, and Goldust could be an interesting "gate-keeper" to the NXT Title scene.
