The WWE universe is going with the most known names.
How does that explain Booker T beating Ric Flair?

Titus O'Neil is great.

Makes sense why a few teams weren't included but would have interested in how the split would have been if it was between LoD, DX (NOA or HHH/HBK), Dudleys, Hardys, and Edge/Christian.

Need something major to happen here to save this PPV. It has felt insanely "minor".
The only option I could see outside of interference is Bryan wins and is stripped of the title tomorrow on RAW
JBL referring to Randy Orton as a 10-time champion instead of a 7-time WWE Champion (not discounting his reigns as World Heavyweight Champion).
I haven't seen Mike Chioda refereeing tonight.

The only option I could see outside of interference is Bryan wins and is stripped of the title tomorrow on RAW
Or tonight. I can actually kinda see Big Show coming out and not knowing who to punch and then hitting Orton "accidentally", letting Bryan get the pin and then Triple H comes out afterward and strips him because he said "no interference".

Wait... a new ref comes out before a pin or submission? WTF?
can't believe DB kicked out of the Bo Dazzler.

09-15-2013, 10:46 PM
Bryan will win and Triple H comes out and says "no, you didn't win as the referee that was assigned to this match didn't call the finish."
The match restarts and Orton hits an RKO, pins Bryan and wins.

I like that they keep showing the replay where you can hear Ryback asking Punk if he's ok after putting him through the table.
I thought it was the ref asking Ryback if he was ok. Something seemed off with Ryback for a few moments after he hit it. Thought he had a Goldberg moment and knocked himself out or something.

Thought it was a very good show. Anyone who still thinks Bryan has been buried or otherwise diminished by his angle, have a word with yourself. I've been going to wrestling shows for 20 years, and he received one of the single most passionate crowd reactions I've ever seen tonight. He's the top baby in the company right now for fun.

The PPV was good, but it just didn't have that "PPV feel" to it. It just felt like a very special episode of Raw.
The Tag Team Turmoil match was good along with the title match. Curtis/Kofi was quite good and actually surprising as I thought Curtis was going to lose. The Diva's title match was alright but the outcome was stupid, and I'm not just saying that because of my dislike of AJ. It actually was stupid in my opinion.
The World Title match was another good match that at the time, I didn't like that it ended via DQ, but thinking about it now, we're most likely to see a No DQ rematch, most probably at Battlefield, so I look forward to that. Miz/Fandango was your expected non-title match at NoC. To be honest, I wasn't actually that interested during the match.
Axel & Heyman/Punk was pretty good too and I was somewhat surprised that Axel was doing double duty and having two matches, but I do actually enjoy watching Curtis Axel, but like the majority of people, I think he needs to stay away from the mic, or at least practice with it more. The ending was unexpected and it does look like that Ryback is the new "Heyman Guy", which I can't help but think that it means that Axel's time with Heyman is now over and he'll slowly be distanced from Heyman now. On the other hand, we could see a tag team of Lesnar and Ryback which is interesting but somewhat of a longshot.
Ambrose/Ziggler was enjoyable but it was pretty obvious that Ziggler wasn't going to win, but even though it was obvious, the match was still enjoyable. The WWE Title match was again, good but like everyone else, the "talking point" seems to be, and rightfully so, is the fast count. Did I like the fast count? Not really, but I'm pretty sure the decision will be reversed tonight on Raw.
Overall, it was a good PPV that furthered storylines, created new ones and produced some good matches. So no disappointment here. :y:

I guess this is the wrestling world we're living in, but come on, it was a friggin month! He had JUST pinned John Cena clean. I'm just saying it's all a little anti climactic. If you're going to give a guy a big build and a big storyline, make it all mean something. Not a hotshot win on a b pay per view.
And I've been in support of the storyline the whole way through until now. They could have held off until survivor series but instead they're going to play hot potato with the title belt it seems.

I would have agreed with you on holding off the title win for Byran, I think he should have beaten HHH at this PPV, then orton at HIAC. But if he didn't win tonight after 8 straight beat down it would be hard to keep me interested.
After getting his ass kicked 8 shows in a row he needed the win.
More accurately, Orton kicked Bryan's ass 7 shows in a row, then Bryan kicked Orton's ass 2 shows in a row.

Well there could always have been a cheap finish after Bryan had gained the upper hand. This was a "C" pay per view essentially, a cheap finish wouldn't have mattered that much. Something as simple as Bryan was kicking Orton's ass and Orton hoofed him in the balls in front of the ref. Maybe have Bryan recover and beat the fuck out of him, tear Orton's shoulder up in a yes lock after he snaps. Get the Fans going nuts for him, but keep the title off of him until Survivor Series. HHH could suspend him etc.
But I agree he shouldn't have got the match against Orton immediately... maybe not have fought HHH because I feel like HHH does not give guys that great of a rub (minus Jeff Hardy during Jeff's big push). Could have even had him beat Big Show or something along those lines. Hotshotting the title onto him (if they don't make a change tonight) is just so anti-climactic.

I'm hoping this doesn't just end up with Triple H saying tonight "There were shenanigans, so we'll have a rematch at Battleground" and then just ending Raw with a beatdown of the new champion. Not content is he to make the show entirely about him once again, with a level of charisma and talent that is nowhere near a McMahon, he also has to suck the air out of the start of a PPV with a segment where he decides to suck a load of face heat out of the Heyman feud. Just watched the PPV, pretty much could tell that they were gonna take the belt from Bryan again to milk another month out of this feud.
If Raw is just another 3 weeks of Shield / Orton beating up Bryan, and Big Show punching people cause he's got no money, then I'm gonna continue to lose interest.
This feud feels like it's losing heat fast.
Losing heat with who exactly?
Bryan is on the same boat with guys like Punk and Jericho. They can lose every match they're in but they are still gonna be over. If anything, it's on Orton (and to a lesser extent, HHH) to help keep this angle fresh.
When Bryan was getting beat down after every Raw, he'd be just as over (if not more) the very next week. The only people the angle "lost heat" with, was the IWC.
