View Full Version : Scott Hall

So Hall I think at this point has dropped 60 pounds, is back training full time with his bionic hip and has been clean for probably longer than he has been in well over a decade.
Kevin Nash and many of Hall's pals say the man is a freak of nature genetically (which explains how he is alive). While I don't think life on the road would be good for him... how hard would you mark out if an in shape Razor Ramon started wrestling matches on the indy scene (or Scott Hall since WWE has Razor trade marked)? Also I think I would mark out harder for a Razor appearance in the rumble more than I would for Jake.
I honestly think he is fully capable of wrestling the same way he did years ago, maybe not quite as quick on his feet, but the guy just understands the business so much, and knows story telling... and if Jerry Lawler can get in there and work the way he does, I think Scott Hall can pick a fool up and give him the Razor's edge. I think guys my age (mid 20s) would go fucking ballistic if he even had a guest appearance on t.v. He was a major part of our child hood's and probably one of the most under rated performers of our time...
...and I honestly think he'll stay relatively clean, I think there'll be a relapse or two here or there, but I think DDP being "one of the boys" and really taking care of Jake and Hall will give them the opportunity to really re invent themselves and get that one last big pay day.

I'd love to see a guest spot in a rumble within the next year or two, but at this point I really can't see him being able to be anything like he ever was. An okay looking Razors Edge to a small guy would probably be the most we could expect from him.
Nash pulled off as good a match as anyone would've expected him to at 50+ against Triple H, but he has consistently kept himself in shape and had matches in TNA. I just think Halls body has probably took too much punishment at this point for him to look anything like his old self, it'd just come across as a bit sad.

nah they should hire a bunch of drug addicts along with RVD. Brian Kendrick, Jeff and Matt Hardy lol. THERE'S NO HOPE WITH DOPE.

I don't think after a hip replacement he could handle the bumps for multiple matches, and definitely no over the top rope.
Bo Jackson was a bigger physical freak and the same thing ended his career. He couldn't hack it in baseball let alone a contact sport.

You can't know that 100 per cent. Some guys are genetic freaks and CAN recover. Not saying or sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if he can work a few decent indy matches.

That was tl:dr so I'll just assume he died. RIP Razor Ramon.

Scott Hall and Kevin Nash should come back and win all the titles in the WWE and then the WWE can close forever and wrestling would no longer exist.
That would rule.

It's survey time. Who doesn't want to see an inspiring story of one man's redemption and eventual return?

I'd mark out hard if he showed up at The Rumble either as Scott Hall or Razor Ramon but i'd rather it be a better showing then Diesel and Booker T had just being used to put over a newer guy screw that.

Pretty sure Hall has a pacemaker. Can you wrestle with one of those?

Heath Slater probably would be the likely choice for a random Razor's Edge.
Think its more likely his next appearance would be DDP-related either as him escorting Jake Roberts to the ring during the Rumble or at Mania during the Hall of Fame festivities (either him or DDP gets inducted).

Hmm.... I dunno.... lol odds seem stacked against him being able to wrestle. Well fuck, and he's too damned big to be a manager!

Maybe you could just let sleeping dogs lie and hope he can live a healthy life with his family.

What's the fun in that? There's nothing wrong with pontificating and hoping. It's not like I'm calling Scott Hall and demanding he return to the ring. We've seen enough one off returns (Like Vader and Sid) to hope for a one off from the Bad Guy.
If you hear the way he talks about the business, he loves it and bleeds it and you can tell if he had the opportunity or ability to perform he would. And he's helping train his son Cody who's a pretty sick athlete and is showing some great potential.

I'd like to see him and Nash, one more time in the ring with other "legendary" tag team for one more match. Whether it be in there with the New Age Outlaws, Team 3D or even the Hardy Boyz. Considering how Team 3D carried them in TNA, I'm sure now with a healthy Hall they could put on a match 1000 times better.

An even better idea...
Hall & Nash Vs Big Stevie Cool and Da Blue Guy!

Yeah I doubt he'd ever be medically cleared by WWE to do anything physical since he has a pacemaker.
Having said that I would love to see a WWE appearance by him, even if just to do some commentary or cut a promo.

I'd like him to have the chance for his wrestling career at least to end with a peaceful farewell rather than a drug-addled stumbling out the door.

Scott Hall is my second fav wrestler behind JBL. That being said, he has a pacemaker and an artificial hip. Just want Hall to have a healthy life. I think his wrestling career is and should be done.

Artificial hip and pacemaker just means he is turbo charged. He should rassle again and his work rate should be at least 8.6482

Incidentally everyone should check out his appearances on Steve Austin's podcast. He's got a pretty good mind and I for one had never heard the story of the genesis of his wrestling career. Very interesting stuff.

He could be the comedy backstage skit at Wrestlemania 30. Instead of Ron Simmons going "Damn" every time people start randomly dancing backstage, just have Hall come out, say "Hey yo", pause for crowd pop, and then join the festivities.

With all this talk about the guy, he could be at least more than Nash's shadow. Why not a World title run? I mean at least back in the day.

Yeah I realized as this thread went along there is no way he should wrestle. But if he gets back into Bad guy levels shape it'd still be friggin awesome and just great for his psyche and it'd be good to see him looking like he did 20 years ago!

I wouldn't mind seeing him come back for a match or two.... anything more serious could cause problems.....
