The biggest thing I don't like right now is corporate pussy-boy HHH. He and Stephanie are trying way too hard to be Vince, and the two of them together aren't half as good as what he is at what he does. I'd like to see them do the locker room mutiny angle again but actually NOT fuck it up this time. Again going with the presumed theme that it will end up being HHH vs Vince on some level, they need to get it to where Vince becomes the crack in the corporate machine's foundation. They could start that as soon as next week if they do this properly.

Loved that ending. Gives so many guys "something" to do. When's the last time Ryder had anything relevant? Gabriel? This will bring guys like that to the front of stuff, even if just means a match or so on Smackdown to go against HHH's guys. Have no idea where they are going for the WWE Title but that group ending gives me hope for an amazing feud with alot of guys involved with in next few months. That's not even including the Rhodes stuff. Cody comes back as an uberface after all this. Who would have guessed that months ago?

Cena being gone has made them HAVE to make other guys Main Eventers and Stars. I kinda like it.

It's really made Daniel Bryan a fucking star. It's been great at bringing the Shield up a notch. And I'm glad they're doing shit with The Ryback after he got buried after the feud with Cena.

Also, the tag team division has been seriously kicking ass. It might be because the Darren Young thing, but it's still really cool to have a bunch of different teams in contention for the titles again. I totally gave up on the Usos and PTP up until about a month ago. Hell, even Tons of Funk gets a chance now.

#1-norm-fan

They've gotta keep constant focus on the tag teams for a while longer though if they want to actually push some of them as being on the same level as The Shield. A random match here and there just to remind us they exist isn't gonna cut it.

#1-norm-fan
09-17-2013, 01:11 AM
I wanna see an actual tag team feud outside the tag title picture to try to get some interest in a couple teams. Not the generic "this team beat this other team and now they're having a series of 5 minute matches and are therefore feuding" but an actual feud with some heat and substance.

Think Batlleground needs to become a championship tournament now, Deadly Games style to keep the Midcard World Order from running riot by giving them opportunities. Qualifiers on Raw and SD for the next couple of weeks and start the PPV from the quarter-finals.

Make it a face v face final between Bryan and someone else, have the other guy turn in his rematch against D Bry down the line and then have Orton annoyed that he's playing the heel second fiddle. Fun times for all.

EDIT: Re-hire Cody saying it was "one of the wrestlers demands" and have him do the turn, including turning on his family.

I'd like to have Orton get eliminated early on via DQ after he doesn't break a 5 count while beating the fuck out of someone in the corner. He can then blame Triple H and Stephanie and have a gripe because he was just being the ruthless predator that they wanted him to be and it got him eliminated.

Then have the finals be Bryan vs Big Show and Show gets unwanted help from The Shield and is forced to take the pin. He can be torn between being champion but having to be corporate in order to keep it and feed his family, Orton can be the "corporate challenger" who still has something to prove and Bryan can still be looking to overcome corporate not wanting him to be champion.

It would lead to an intriguing dichotomy for a triple threat match at Survivor Series.

Plus, Show deserves another run with the title. He's awesome.

Where was D. Bry when Randy was slaughtering the Miz? Taking a piss? Out on a smoke break?

I believe that Daniel Bryan believes in long term storytelling. As per my knowledge, when Daniel Bryan made his debut on NXT, his mentor - The Miz treated him very poorly. They had a good feud where Daniel Bryan replaced The Miz on team WWE at the Summerslam 2010 pay-per-view event and eventually made him tap out for the United States Championship. One might argue that The Miz got the last laugh as he defeated Daniel Bryan on an edition of Monday Night RAW prior to Wrestlemania 26 in a champion versus champion match. Hence, Daniel Bryan did not help The Miz while he got "slaughtered" by Randy Orton.

I was able to catch Raw last night with Tb1, the show was f'n awesome. I really dug it. Great crowd and it came off as quite "attitudinal." The evil, sadistic characters being played by Triple H, Stephanie, and Orton have me pulling for the heels once again (shouldn't be a surprise). I do love Bryan, however. He's on fire. I was skeptical at first but I am now enjoying the Triple H corporate heel storyline. However, I do not enjoy Daniel Bryan getting beaten up by the end of each show. His two reigns as WWE Champion have been shorter than that of Mick Foley.

Where was D. Bry when Randy was slaughtering the Miz? Taking a piss? Out on a smoke break?

I have a feeling that Miz comes back as a heel on this basis. If the main page can be trusted at all, he has a heel turn coming up; and not so much "where wasa D-Bry" but "why did all you midcard cocksuckers come out to save him and not me? MY FAMILY WAS THERE!!!" Heel Miz is way better anyways.

The Miz should definitely turn heel out of this. I'm intrigued to see how Cody Rhodes ends up back in the company. He could align with Triple H and co. and become an interesting heel character, but he's been heel for years and never really got elevated. He's good at it and everything, but as a face he feels much fresher. If they did a Deadly Games-like tournament at Battleground, Cody Rhodes could return to fight for the WWE Championship and his job. I suggested in another thread that to keep Big Show complacent Triple H can offer him his choice of opponent in the tournament. Show then selects Cody Rhodes, effectively bringing him back to the active roster. Rhodes would find some way to defeat Big Show in the first round (Show's heart isn't in the match, or something) and then goes on to face Randy Orton in the semi-finals. Orton beats Rhodes, continuing to build the eventual moment where Rhodes does beat Orton. CM Punk defeats Ryback and then moves on to face Daniel Bryan in the semi-finals. Bryan defeats Punk, a loss which does not sit well with Punk, who costs Bryan the main event to Orton.
