Was rocking my new Gorilla Monsoon shirt out and about and I had a shitload of people say it's awesome. Been noticing some other old WWF shirts out including an awesome Wrestlemania 3 shirt with Hogan and Andre on the front. I'm guessing it's a hipster thing in which case I may burn my fucking shirt.

I've got the Ravishing Rick Rude shirt and have heard a boatload of comments from people.

I would say it is a mix between people genuinely liking old school.... and just people going "retro... that must be cool then"

When I die, I literally want to be buried in my Gorilla Monsoon shirt. So fucking great.

gonna have to get some Bret Hart styrophome shades and rock them. Know it's not the oldest of schools but it's close enough.

They do design the shirts very loud, which is fun.

Don't trash hipsters. They're useful for serving lattes and mochas.

I don't think it's hipster-ism. I think it's more nostalgia.

I popped into Hot Topic a few weeks ago and they had a WWE Legends shirt that had individual pictures of a bunch of old school guys. I asked the guy if he had any, he said that they got them in a few days ago and promptly sold out.

I think for most people, it's a childhood nostalgia thing. They watched Ultimate Warrior or Big Bossman when they were kids and they want to represent, just like people that wear GI Joe and TMNT shirts. But once you get out of your teens, I don't think pro wrestling will ever be "nerd cool" like comic books or star wars. You tell someone you're a Dr. Who fan and they just nod and accept. Tell someone you're a wrestling fan and they automatically subtract 50 IQ points.

This one? My brother got me this for my Birthday last year, I love it. Most people just flat out don't get it, but the ones that do seem to dig it.

I wonder if they sell Austin 3:16 at Hot Topic.
