Alright so I was on the imdb http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0395584/ looking to see when this movie would be coming out, and I happened to look at the cast list and DDP is going to be in the movie playing himself. What the hell is up with that? Anybody here have any further info?

Any particular reason why it shouldn't be made?

Here's five.

1) There are too many bad horror movies already.
2) "House of 1000 Corpses" was one of the worst.
3) Sequels are almost always worse than the originals.
4) Rob Zombie needs to stick to music and forget filmmaking.
5) DDP deserves better.

There was all this talk about how LGF was releasing it because Zombie's prvious distributoor bailed on him. "Oh, it's too controversial." No, it was too CRAP.

I actually enjoyed that movie a lot and I am pretty anxiuos to see the 2nd one. I thought the movie was pretty different from the horror movies we usually see today. It had my attention the whole way through.

But this is coming from someone who really enjoyed Ready to Rumble.

Yeah, people can blast Hollywood for catering to the lowest denominator, but there are still some people out there who see shit for what it is and refuse to promote it.

Granted, but there's always going to be bad movies no matter what you do.

2) "House of 1000 Corpses" was one of the worst.
We differ on opinions here, I loved it, but I also have a large collection of bad 80's horror movies.

3) Sequels are almost always worse than the originals.
Can't judge this movie yet, hasn't even come out.

4) Rob Zombie needs to stick to music and forget filmmaking.
See answer #2.

5) DDP deserves better.
I just don't understand why he's playing HIMSELF!

I liked the first one, although it was a blatant rip off The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But still I thought it was a cool film.

What, calling it suck instead of cheese isn't playing nice?

Then I've been a bad bad boy.

I call people morons, fu</>ckwits, retards, nazis, and other colorgul phrases, all while verbally berating them. But now, calling Hoatc suckage, I have finally crossed the line.

I also don't share my crayons with the other first graders.

You're not gonna call my mommy now, are you? :(

After seeing it I came to the same conclusion - I'm just happy I downloaded it and didn't waste any money.

Totally agrees. 'House of 1000 Corpses' ... not much can be said there. For someone who hates blood and gore movies, that one really sucked.

Right on. Seen Rat Race? DDP was in an awesome scene in that movie with one of the houses going down the road, he beat the hell outta, I forget who but it was hilarious. Too bad it got cut from the movie.
