Season 2 premiered last night. It was awesome. There were a ton of cool ass nods, a bit of world building, and some decent action. I hope somebody else here is enjoying this show.

The show did build quite slowly. It was as if they knew they were gonna be doing so much awesome fanboy shit, that they took their time getting to all of it.

Just watched the season premiere. Love the way it is going now, with him trying to become more of a non-killing hero instead of a "ruthless" vigilante.

Summer Glau just seems awkward and out of place though. Hope they don't cancel the show because of her.

Personally, I'm not a sticular. If Arrow Begets Flash, and the Flash ends up in the JL Movieverse, how can Arrow NOT be in the universe. Besides, I love the universe they're building in Arrow. For a TV show, it feels big.

I hope Arrow does end up in the JL movie, aside from the obvious big 2 this show has made him the most established character they have, but I'm get the feeling he won't be included as the character really isn't a big name in comparison to the rest of the normal assumed lineup of the Justice League.

I know rumors are always subject to change, and some are just downright foolish, but the last one I heard had there being 2 Flash's. One for Arrow, and one that was completely unrelated for the JL movie that would keep the universes separate.

Was surprised at how much of Barry Allen's origin was in there. Professor Zoom pretty much confirmed, as well as time travel shenanigans.

Also, reading online, Brother Cyrus (super strong dude) last name is Gold. Cyrus Gold in the comic books became the thing known as Solomon Grundy. Nice little nod.

Dunno, I was a bit weirded out by Barry/Felicity. Always took Felecity as an "adult" on par with Oliver/Laurel, that age range. Barry came across as younger than that. Something like Thea's age or something. Oliver even made a statement about how he would get carded at the bar.

I think you can pin-point the exact point that Arrow season 1 really "picked up" and became "can't miss", with the promotion of Felicity Smoak to the main cast.

I've been watching this show from the start of season 1.

I've never read any of the comics in my life and still find it hugely enjoyable. The only person I knew was a 'Hero' aside from Arrow was Berry Allen/Flash, and I only knew that because of the mention of him in 'Catch me if you can'.

This show still stands out to someone who has no prior knowledge of the characters and their origins. That speaks volumes of the story telling and 'world building' that has been done thus far.

Can't wait for more.

How is it that WB cant put a movie universe together but the fucking CW has so many plot lines in the air, with such good storytelling and such great GREAT world building?

I would literally only worry about having the Trinity on the big screen, and embrace the fact that DC has always done well on Television. I mean I can smell the clusterfuck coming in 2016.

But back to Arrow, I love all of the black people in this series (I'd love to have a romp with Amanda Waller). Seriously good episode. and I'm pretty happy with the fact cut down in flashbacks. The flashbacks have been good, but Wow, if you devote the entire air time to these great story lines, holy crap.

I'm a little more perplexed about Ollie and Waller being familiar with eachother... makes me wonder if *she* had a hand in getting him off the island.

Also, I seriously doubt a bomb took out Shrapnel. Especially offscreen. Especially with the penchant for people with names not staying dead in this show except Shado, Tommy, and Mr. Queen. And they're prob'ly only still dead because their deaths are major plot devices. Gone through all of this over the past few weeks after a friend was bigging it up a bunch to me, just watching the last episode now. I'm enjoying it but not really loving it. Friend said the second season was amazing so was seriously expecting something special, but it's been a bit meh for some good chunks. Dunno if it's cause I don't know any of these DC characters or what. Have no connection to any of the characters, don't think I'd care if anyone died except probably Felicity.
