Um, we should probably have one.

Ultimate X match was ok. Not terrible, Not great, just ok.

Wish Aries would have won.

Damn. Jessie Godderz & Robbie E. are the new tag team champs.

Very strange.

Gail Kim might have just had a vaginal slip.

ODB hitting her own breasts every 5 seconds is weird.

Gail Kim wins when some woman who looks like Tamina but isn't Tamina beats up Brooke and ODB.

Not a very good match.

Kurt Angle v Bobby Roode was good, much better than everything else so far.

I'm glad Bobby Roode won. How he won is kind of 'wtf' TNA booking. Kurt Angle knocked himself out by giving Bobby Roode an Angle Slam.

Angle in full control does risky desperate move and loses when he knocks himself out LOL TNA.

Ethan Carter III (Derick Bateman) making his debut.

Kind of like his theme music. Always liked Bateman so hoping they can use him right.

EC3... well I must say he's bigger than I expected. Little surprised WWE dropped him with a look and physic like that. His theme music is kinda neat I will say that.

Sting vs Magnus will hopefully deliver. Most of this PPV has been meh at best.

Stable mates fighting cause one is a loser and can't win and now he's fighting a hall of famer. This makes sense.

Wishbone

In wrestling logic it does. Magnus was hailed as the future and his losses have been mostly due to interference by Bad Influence. Sting believes in him and wants to give him a shot to prove himself against a living legend to relive the whole Sting/Flair thing. Not saying it's really logical in real world terms, but it makes about as much sense as Bigshow being able to punch the CEO and the General Manager of RAW while unemployed without being arrested.

Sting with the most gingerly Scorpion Death Lock I have ever seen.

Magnus wins by submission.

Sting tapped out to the Scorpion Death Lock (some version of it).

Wishbone

I have a feeling that Magnus will let this go to his head now and think he's god's gift to wrestling only for Sting to tell him that he let him win after the Brit turns heel.

To give him something to bitch about for his heel turn. Both title changes (Bully-Sabin-Bully) were on free TV so none of them mattered.

Slik is being kind to the terminally ill TNA. I didn't have a chance to watch, but this thread makes Bound-for-the-Gloryhole 2013 sound like a decent PPV. :)

I thought the ppv was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!, what can you say about EC3 already a legend, Sting vs Magnus was up there with Taker/Punk, everything else was Great, Kurt vs Booby was incredible moty and AJ vs Bully is a close second. But hey I guess. What more do you people want, next to killing themselves I don't think Vince on his best day could pull off a show like this. There is just no pleasing the IWC.

I like TNA well enough, but honestly this PPV just came off as second rate and it's supposed to be their Wrestlemania. The Bobby Roode vs Kurt Angle match was pretty damn amazing even if the buildup was meh and AJ vs Bully was a great hardcore style match, but none of it felt main event of the PPV of the year worthy to me.

I'm also just really disgusted with the Dixie heel turn. I mean it's just the most blatant ripoff of the HHH/Steph storyline. At least when TNA has copied WWE in the past they've had the courtesy to wait until the corpse was cold before beating it. Now they're copying multiple ONGOING storylines at once. AJ/Dixie = CM Punk/McMahon or Bryan/HHH, Gail Kim and La'di Tapa = AJ Lee and Tamina, etc. It's honestly just sad... :(

We'll have to agree to disagree.

I thought the majority of the matches were just ok. Ultimate X was about 15 minutes short of what it should have been considering the individuals involved and Sting v. Magnus was about 15 minutes longer than what it should have been considering the individuals involved. It would've have been more effective to have Magnus just steamroll over Sting in a short match to build him up. The Knockouts match, another area TNA is genuinely well regarded in would have been best to find a way to have ODB 'taken out of action' early on the in contest and only able to sporadically involve her in the action as she really held down most of the match with her tired schtick. Everything felt like a tv special outside of Angle/Roode, which had a wonky ending. I'm not sure why they would have Angle decline his HOF induction on the ppv. That should have been part of the storyline build rather than part of 'ppv payoff'. Just strange booking.

If I didn't watch any WWE programming but tuned in for WM, it would feel like a big show. If I hadn't watched any WCW programming but tuned into Starrcade, it would feel like a big show. This didn't even feel as big as the last TNA show I watched, which was Slammiversary. They don't have the depth of roster and they don't seem to know how to use what they do have. It's like Dixie Carter has a wading pool and is trying to scuba dive because she thinks that is what you do.

They are now actively ripping off storylines their competition is currently doing. Gail Kim has a Samoan bodyguard, Dixie is doing what's right for business and deciding who the champ should be.

I just don't understand this company. Even small things, like having a unique entrance for Bound For Glory instead of a generic titantron set they can't do right.

You have some good production ideas, but Panda Energy is being too tight with its checkbook.

I respectfully disagree with the hotshot booking of a squash match against Sting or Angle, as these guys should be hard to beat, and both Magnus and Roode really earned their wins. Their matches were somewhat believable, whereas a squash against Angle or Sting would not be.

I agree that ODB hasn't changed her gimmick for about as long as Cena, but TNA has many NASCAR fans who really dig ODB's same ol' shtick. It's not broken for those fans, so why change it unless to book ODB as a menacing heel?

EC3 is the only segment I cared to check out. Hope he does good for himself and can come back to WWE sometime. Really liked the Bateman character on NXT of him being a goofball standing up for Chicks and America.

Isn't the Ethan Carter III character meant to be related to Dixie Carter? Or was the "Carters need to stick together" reference just because of their common last name? He always had charisma, so I hope he gets his shtick together in the ring. If he's meant to be a nepotism-based character, then debuting him at Bound For Glory against a scrub makes perfect sense.

Bobby Roode vs. Kurt Angle sounds good, and Angle declining the Hall of Fame place actually makes sense. He still wants to prove himself and achieve more. Knocking himself out on the Angle Slam makes sense -- Angle is pushing himself too hard -- but they probably could have done the spot and had Angle just not be able to capitalize. A recovered Roode can then finish Angle off with his own move.

Got no clue why The Bromans were given the shot against James Storm & Gunner, let alone the titles. This really should have been Bad Influence's match. The Bromans could have very easily been the team to get taken out by Abyss. Better yet, have Abyss successfully defend the TV Title against them in a Handicap Match and remind people that the title exists.

I'm not really sure that Chris Sabin works as X-Division Champion at the moment. I think it would have suited his character for him to lose and then take issue with the winner. Austin Aries would have been great, but Jeff Hardy or Samoa Joe would have worked just as fine. Truth be told, Sabin should have been the X-Division Champion heading into the show for a one-on-one match with Jeff Hardy or something.

The Gail Kim aligning with L'ei Tapa, or whatever her name is, seems directly inspired by AJ Lee aligning with Tamina Snuka. I wouldn't have done that. Especially since Gail Kim's character seems to be one that is confident in her own abilities. Kim could have won the title on her own by pinning Brooke and pissing off ODB and setting up another chase there.

Magnus beating Sting was the right call. I'm not sure how long the match went, but a strong finish for Magnus was needed, and it sounds like the Texas Cloverleaf finish allows that. I would have had Magnus cost AJ Styles the World Title in the main event, but Styles winning sends the fans home happy.
