Can anybody explain this move to me? I remember it vaguely from one of the Smackdown! games for PS1, but I'm drawing a blank on how it is executed.

Wasn't that the corner Diamond Cutter/Stunner-esque move where theyflip over from the top rope?

Yep.

Masato Tanaka used to use it as one of his (seemingly) half-dozen finishers.

Yea Sharkboy does it as well. I forget what he calls it though. Deep Sea something or other...

Deep Sea Driver

Oh and Tanaka had three that I knew of. Am I missing anything? Diamond Dust, Roaring Elbow, and his swinging reverse DDT from the corner.

I think it is just those three. I was being facetious when I said it was a half-dozen. It seemed like every other move was a "finisher."

I knew that, but for some reason I still feel like I'm missing something. When you said that it just made me think, and I could have swore he had one more.

In Japan I know he uses a Death Valley Driver pretty regularly... Not sure if he used it in ECW though...

He also has a move/finisher called the shotgun/shogun ( not sure which one right off hand) which is a vertical suplex into a stunner.... Those are the only other two moves I can think of right now.

The roaring elbow, my choice of finisher :y:

You know, if Orton used Diamond Dust, I would actually mark for him.
