Who do you want them to sell it to?

I'd go for any EXCEPT the E

I don't know of anyone else who knows how to run a wrestling business AND has the money except the E (If by that you mean WWE and not Eric).

I want Vince to fire Jeff Jarrett again. AIN'T I GREAT! No, you're fired!!!!!!!!
Viacom who owns Spike will probably do it because they have to own alot of it already because of how much money they spilled to get big talent in TNA.

I want another Invasion angle, it won't as star studded as the last one, but I was a fan of that whole story.

If we got any kind of Jarrett vs Triple H "battle of the bosses" feud or whatever then I'd be right back watching wrestling.

Viacom. Would guarantee that TNA gets to keep their tv show and Spike TV gets more control which is something they wanted for a while.

I would want them to sell it to TPWW.
Let's start a Kickstarter.

If TNA did get sold, I could see either Bischoff or Hogan buying the company.

If it gets sold to WWE we'll end up with another abortion of an Invasion angle. That story had so much potential but Vince (and to a lesser degree the wrestlers who wouldn't "play ball" with Vince & Co.) couldn't get his ego out of the way about what was really best for business at the time.
If WCW and ECW had been allowed to stay around and be run as separate entities, wrestling would still be HUGE business, instead of just big business.

Double J no doubt. Wrestling is already stale. Last thing WWE needs is no "competitiion"...there will be nothing to talk about.....

WWE wouldn't do anything good with it.
Fuck it. I say Bischoff. He may not make it legit competition anytime soon but who can at this point? At least he's got a history of running a successful company for a while.

Good idea. I change my vote to Ted Turner.
I'm sure Bischoff / Hervey Productions, Fusient Media, or whatever they're calling their television company these days could purchase TNA and make it sexier like it was in 2002-2003.

Chris Jericho. He did suggest that he'd have bought WCW if he'd known the price...

I'm still not sure that its sexiness wasn't 90% potential even then.

On March 23rd, 2001 Vince McMahon/World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Inc. purchased World Championship Wrestling (http://forums.wrestlezone.com/showthread.php?t=180904#), the contracts of 24 undercard Wrestlers and the entire WCW video tape library for a paltry US$2.2 Million plus fees and legal costs.

Another question: if WWE ends up buying TNA, would they include TNA footage in their DVD releases?

Unless they get the TV time the only buyer would be Vince, for the video library alone, TNA isn't even on ECWs level so I can't picture any type of invasion angle.
Or Lock Jaws kickstarter idea.

Could see them using it for a possible Sting DVD set that was rumored to be among the list of potential DVD sets for next year assuming TNA would fold beforehand.

Sting maybe, only because they clearly want him. Bubba maybe, although I don't think they'd break the bank to re-sign him. They had the chance to sign the rest when their contracts expired and didn't, Christopher Daniels is 40ish I think, Samoa Joe I think would have been a good signing a few years back but from what I've heard he's been phoning it in for a while. Most of the guys you mentioned are late 30s/early 40s and aside from the ex WWE guys and Sting they would get the same reaction as a debuting NXT guy if they randomly showed up on Raw.

I mean I think they'd cherry pick a few guys, Magnus apparently has come on leaps and bounds since his debut for example, and none of them are going to cost much to sign and ship to Florida, I just can't see how they could book an invasion with guys the WWE fanbase has no clue about or Vince having the patience to educate them to the point it becomes a money spinning angle.
The video library will pay for itself though, especially if the WWE network ever launches.

Miss TNA Battle Royal :)
It ended up as a vehicle for "Bruce" Kweewee when his Rainbow Express partner Lenny Lane was injured.

I hope they leave air holes in the shipping containers. :)

I kinda think if TNA does get sold... I don't think WWE would really care to buy it. The whole business with WCW was because it was almost a personal feud. If TNA does come up for sale, I don't see Vince going out of his way or putting up big money to buy it. It's not like Vince bought XWF, WWA, WSX, XPW or any of the attempted national promotions post WCW

Just looking at the former talent, Christian/RVD/Booker T/Nash/Hogan/Hardy/Punk/Goldust, there's a few big gaps in any potential Bio DVDs that could be filled with their video library.

Chris Jericho buying it and going to war with Triple H to prove he was always an A+ player would save rassling.
