No. If the referee doesn't get the chance to make the decision, then it is a no contest. I don't see what is too hard to understand about that.
DQ or No Contest for when somebody is attacked by outside interference and he is the only person attacked. TV cuts off before the announcer says anything because of storyline purposes.

If there is so much carnage left that the referee can't make the call, then it goes down in the books as a no contest, because there was no official call by the referee.

In hockey, there can be a penalty, but the ref will miss it or not call it..... you know it happened, you know logically it should be a penalty.... but the ref made no call, so it will go down in the books as no penalty.

If the announcers don't say anything the following week, it should be a no contest.
Every time I heard Tony Schiavone say, "I guess the referee is throwing the whole thing out," the match result was listed online at WCW.com as a "no contest".

If the ref doesn't call the dq then it's a no contest unless otherwise stated by an announcer or some one else that the match did in fact end by dq
