I was thinking about getting 13 for the Vita, but after seeing this teaser trailer, I think I'll wait and get this for PS4.

Adding you to my 'fwiends' so I don't have to deal with American <s>accents</s> pings if you ever get a PS4.

I always thought The Show looked amazing on PS3 and I essentially bought PS3 just for that series. This makes the PS3 look like shit by comparison.

Ahhh yes. The Show. I once hit a walk-off HR against Roxer, with the great Steve Clevenger.Greatest moment of my online gaming history.

Honestly, that was a weird fucking game. Both our starters had 15+ strikeouts in around 8 innings. And it's not that I was swinging at everything or that I had bad patience or even the timing of the pitch because of the lag because I played Diamond Dynasty all the time so I'm used to all of that and rarely do I strikeout 10+ times.

But this was just weird. Carried a perfect game into the 6th.

Anyway, I was pretty sure I hit a Home Run on the last play with C.Y. so I put down my controller and and raised my arms in the air in celebration. And then it CLEARLY (and I checked in the replay) hit the scoreboard hanging over the pool which should be a HomeRun but it wasn't and it bounced back into play. I had to pick up my controller and tell Goldie to keep going from 2nd to home. And then someone (I dunno who) on the Cubs completely botches the throw and Goldie scores.

There were some definite shenanigans but that should have been ruled a HR anyway so it all evens out.

Anyway, after that 15 inning marathon I don't feel like playing again tonight. But I'm looking forward to this being a regular thing.

I.gotta hang with some folks. I'll, let you stew about that Steve Clevenger walk off home run.

I dunno why I kept throwing high. I guess because I was throwing low pitches all game and thought I could get you with back to high pitches. Just left a fucking change-up when I shouldn't have even called for one.

Lots of GIDP from you. Hell, technically that game shouldn't have even been in extra innings from that blown call but you ended up winning so whatever.

Rubber game should be a night game. Ian Kennedy vs. whoever you got. Can't be Garza or Dumpster though. Smarjida maybe? I dunno.

- The number one thing I want from this game is an awesome crowd. That's really what I want from all sports games, honestly. I feel like we've mastered the gameplay of all sports games, now it's time to make each game you play feel different. Maybe like a crowd intensity slider before you star so you can choose how into it you want the crowd to be. Put a 10 for a Royals/Astros game and the crowd will go nuts and is amped up throughout. Put a 1 for Red Sox/Yankees and the stadium is half full and no one cares. Even the broadcasters are affected by the slider and will treat it more seriously if it's a big game.

- Dynamic commentary would be nice. Something where it's always updating to make play now games seem realistic. Actually all game modes can benefit from this. I always thought it would be cool if they recorded real life broadcasts and, if possible, place those sound clips into the game so long as it didn't feel too disjointed.

- I love me some Diamond Dynasty so I'm hoping it returns and is bigger and better. It's going to suck having to create that logo for a 3rd time now but oh well.

Really the only thing I want is for them to constantly be upgrading the broadcast element of the game so it feels different every time. The gameplay is fine. It's baseball. They've figured it out. Now they should focus on a better presentation.

This trailer certainly "teases" toward that and I hope some of my expectations are met when they show an actual preview.

I that was 15 innings. I don't think Clevenger was my starting C that game.

I won the first game with a walkoff which was 15 innings. You won the 2nd one with a walkoff which was also in extras.

<font color=goldenrod>Yeah presentation and atmosphere are huge. They hyped the shit out of Opening Day, the playoffs, etc. having "unique" feels to them with the crowd and presentation but all it really was a couple second clip of the pitchers warming up in the bullpen, the teams assembled on the base lines, and that was about it. Then it was on to being a regular game with a slightly louder crowd.</font>

<font color=goldenrod>With the amount of extra room they have to work with to add details to stadiums, one thing I'd absolutely love is if each stadium had a pre-set number of places in the stadium where World Series banners, etc. can be added. Most teams display their World Series triumphs. If you win the World Series in, say, 2016, then from 2017 and on there should be acknowledgement of the 2016 World Series win with a banner being added wherever the other World Series banners are in the stadium. Would be really nice for the immersion of the game universe and it'd feel like time has actually passed by. As it is now, once you win the World Series it is essentially forgotten about by the next year and never mentioned again.

Similar thing could be added with being able to retire more numbers for your team. Then again I just badly want to throw a #31 up on the Citi Field wall since the Mets seem reluctant to do it in real life. :o

Also hearing the PS4 may allow for players to wear their respective teams' uniforms during the All Star Game instead of AL and NL jerseys. The creators have said on Operation Sports that they legitimately didn't have the memory space on PS3 to handle that but PS4 might be able to.</font>

<font color=goldenrod>Not that this is necessarily a bad thing but The Show has to be the most frustrating game of all time. When I blow a game in the 9th against the CPU I'm usually so livid from having wasted an hour of my time. If it were against a human player that'd be one thing, but against the gayass CPU I just feel like "NOPE" and turn the console off without saving. :o

If I don't have at least a 3 run lead going into the 9th in Philadelphia, I'm almost a lock to blow it. Dropped Opening Day 2016 to them. Had a 2-1 lead in the ninth and it played out exactly as I said it would before it started. Ben Revere leads off with a perfect bunt single...because speedy CPU players can bunt for hits with ease in The Show. Sac bunt to 2nd. Delmon Young with the walkoff HR that barely clears their little league OF. Turned the game off before he even rounded first base. Matt Harvey's 7 inning, 15 K performance wiped from history because I'm a sore loser.</font> :(

I got the game this morning, first game I play as TOR against the Cubs..... made a ton of errors, tied 2-2 going to extras..... give up a lead-off double that winds up scoring..... my half of the inning, first two batters get out, then a walk, bloop single and another walk to load the bases for Bautista..... first pitch strike, then a wild pitch to tie the game, one more ball, then ANOTHER wild pitch to Walk-off!!!

Love the game so far

What's the deal with Diamond Dynasty? I cannot play CPU opponents and half the time I go on there is an error with their server.....
