Any other fans? I used to absolutely love that show, since I grew up with it, and in fact I still do. I'm watching a massive marathon of it right now on "Nick at Night." Suzanne Sommers, Joyce Dewitt, and the late, great John Ritter. Oh, plus the Ropers, and Mr. Furley! Great show!

But it doesn't suck either, so please don't bitch at me for saying something against the show you so love...

Season 2 was released on DVD on May 4th. Along with un-cut episodes (unlike Nick at Nite), they have the first pilot of the show with John Ritter and two different women, plus a bunch of other bonus features.

Yeah that show is rather entertaining. Jack Tripper is very gay.

probably in my top ten all time best sitcoms. i think john ritter was way under-rated, great at physical comedy.

I've been watching the same marathon off and on since yesterday too. MY GOD that show ruled more than anything should be allowed to rule by law.

You do know that I was being sarcastic cause you screwed up the theme song we had going right. ;)

In it's day it was awesome. It went against a lot of society norms, but didn't harp on it, it just was what it was. Also Ritter was good at physical comedy like da_king stated.

My only problem with it was, as the years went on it got stale, but that's true of just about everything. Personally for me, sitcoms have a short 'shelf-life'

Yeah, I've watched a few episodes from that marathon crap. It is a decent show, John Ritter is quite good at acting like a gay man.

But the show does get pretty stale, as the character above me stated. Like almost every show the theme of it was two characters hearing or seeing something and thinking something was different then it really was, if you understand what I am saying.

So what does everyone think... Furley or Roper?

I say Furley but when Roper makes an insulting comment towards Mrs. Roper and then looks at the audience... GOLD! :D

Yes, very observent. That was the whole point of the show.
