Sick Nick Mondo returned last night at CZW's Cage of Death. This is very exciting news as it's been 10 whole years since his retirement. Do you think he will wrestle again?

Nick Mondo retired?
Yeah, his last match was on July 26th 2003 after winning Tournament of Death 2. He decided to retire on a high rather than just fading away. He hasn't stepped inside a wrestling ring for 10 years.

I guess he had to. I mean, didn't all the Blockbuster Videos go out of business?

And, since he's coming back to CZW, his streak will remain unbroken!

Yeah he'll probably enter the TOD or face DJ Hyde or Danny Havoc or Drake Younger or something and either win the title or go away.

Wish I had an airhorn to stop this thread from existing.

Dudes never wrestling again. I don't blame him either. I'd rather be making movies than killing myself for shit pay too.
'Sick' Nick Mondo? I respect him like I do all CZW performers, but I have to wonder what caused this unretirement.
Will he wrestle monthly or as a special attraction now and then? I can see people coming for the nostalgia. I wonder what Justice Pain is up to these days.
Hurricane Kid and Rick Feinburg were going places but then disappeared after their rookie-jobber years. Too long for a push, eh?
Poor Feinburg was jobbed out to some one-off chick who never set foot in CZW again, so I see why he walked. I think she was 'Sarah Starr' or something like that. Was Hurricane Kid the next guy to be sacrificed for feminist booking? :|

He doesn't hold a candle to Akira Kirosawa, the reigning Danger Match King for the last 4 years.

I dunno about this, he made the choice to "kill himself" as opposed to work any kind of credible/sustainable style and "making movies" is extremely generous.

Plus I really wouldn't call this a return. He just threw a few of his shitty looking kicks.

Stop calling Blockbuster Video a "movie company". It's not the same thing.
