Was reading a hardback on my way to work this morning, and just wondered how everyone prefers to read/buy their books? I mostly read paperbacks. I tend to wait until a book comes out in paperback because it's cheaper.
I've not gotten into digital yet, despite having sufficient devices to buy and read from amazon, etc. It just doesn't feel the same as holding a book. I love owning the actual books and filling my bookshelves.
If you do read digital, do you get any newspapers/magazine subscriptions?

Kindle mostly, although I still buy certain books just because. Never really thought about adding magazines/papers to my e-reading list to be honest.

Paperbacks. Still don't see the appeal of e-readers and stuff, although I only really read comics in digital form so I might make the switch someday.

I want to do the audiobook option, but when I travel now it is with family and rarely by myself, the story would get interrupted and I wouldn't get that immersion that I crave from stories.

We all know you can't read, your replies are just uncanny guesswork.

i've started using the kindle that came with my phone. my only complaint would be that it's too damn hard to see any pictures or maps.

I'd say mostly audiobook nowadays. I read Game Of Thrones and A Storm of Swords but audio booked the rest.

I read hardbacks, as I prefer them.
Not really a fan of paperback but I still read them. I only really get paperbacks as gifts though. I don't go out of my way to buy them and if there is a hardback version of the book I'm after, I tend to go for that, with no care about the price difference.
I've never tried Digital/E-reader or Audiobooks as they don't interest me at all. I'm quite like you Impeccable, I just don't think it would feel the same as holding a book, and I also love owning the actual books and filling my bookshelf too.

I like paperbacks. I like being able to quickly flip back in a book, or forward to see how many pages left in the chapter or something. And I like paperback more than hardbacks because they are lighter, smaller, and cheaper.
