Robert Rodriguez's (From Dusk Till Dawn, Sin City) new tv network 'El Rey' will launch a new national wrestling organization in the U.S., based on the most popular sport in Mexico following futbol, Lucha Libre and in coordination with current organization Lucha Libre AAA.

TV Megaproducer Mark Burnett (The Bible, Survivor, The Apprentice) will produce and a number of individuals, such as Konaan, are working on it behind the scenes. The goal is to bring in Mexican talent in along with former WWE/TNA talent to hopefully create a new major brand in wrestling.

As part of the new pact, the group will develop monthly and quarterly specials, as well as pay-per-view lucha libre events. Merchandise, licensing and product integration opportunities for the league are also being explored.

This will be great if the commentators speak english. Japan should follow suit and have translations for their shows.
