just Cesaro sounds weird. I don't like it, but I would like to know how he beats Orton. I also enjoy Swagger being #1 contender against big E
Yeah, just Cesaro is a bit weird.

Oh come on. Are they going to have Christian be the only guy who DOESN'T beat Orton?
Unless... this is them positioning Christian to win because "no one will expect it now"

So glad TGIF isn't on anymore b/c Smackdown would be destroyed by that ratings juggernaut. I wouldn't even tape it. Maybe. Perhaps.
I am psyched for the Cesaro victory.

Sounds like a good show for once. That main event especially.
So now we know what Monday's main event is at least. Sheamus vs. Orton. For shits and giggles, they should have Orton face all 5 guys in the chamber in a 5 on 1 elimination match next week on Smackdown.

I feel like this is just a setup for Orton to "overcome the odds" and win the chamber match but I would fucking love it if he was the first guy eliminated and just went crazy. Orton trying to redeem himself and fight for his job at WrestleMania or something would be a better story that a massive loser heel walking into WrestleMania as champion.

That's a great idea :y: would add a lot of interest to Orton's match at Mania if it was for his job

I've moved from watching Raw to Smackdown. Looking foward to an Eva Marie singles match.
Don't know about just Cesaro. They should transition it with A. Cesaro.

Sounds like a solid show, but I'm not a fan of Bryan and Orton jobbing.
Especially in the case of Orton, why is he jobbing cleanly so many times?
Meh.

Same here.
The fans are really taking a shining to him. He has the most over move in the industry right now.
Cesaro, Swagger, Zigger, Wyatt's, Shield, and Bryan. And hopefully, CM Punk is still in the mix here.
I'm not trying to get too ahead of myself here, but this could be 1997 again as far as the potential for new talents to emerge goes.
Back then, you had Rocky, Hunter, Austin, Foley, Kane, etc., all starting to get big.
If the WWE plays their cards right, the same thing can happen here.

So that when he wins at the chamber its "so much more impressive that he beat the odds and outlasted all 5 other men".
Then he gets fed to Batista.

Exactly! That's why I get so annoyed over the last few Wrestlemania's that two thirds of the show is dedicated to guys like Triple H, Undertaker, The Rock, Brock Lesnar etc. Wish those guys would all fuck off now and let the focus be on the guys you listed.
And Wade Barrett.

Think the Elimination Chamber is really gonna be a "breaking out" for Cesaro. Not gonna win it, but really gonna have an impressive showing and establish himself as a main event-caliber talent.

Didn't read the spoilers prior to watching this show, and I thoroughly enjoyed it:
* I'd actually be interested in seeing a Christian vs. Sheamus feud. A Christian heel turn would make a lot of sense, given that he actually gets to talk as a heel and his "I'm desperate to finalize a legacy" now could be an easy explanation. Plus, so far, he's the only guy in the Chamber that hasn't beaten Randy Orton. Talk about a massive chip on your shoulder.
* I am so glad Jack Swagger is the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Swagger's lacking that thing that helps him stick in the main event scene, but he's got all this talent, some size to him, and he would make a fantastic IC Champion. I was afaid that they were going to give the win to Mark Henry here. I get that people love Henry now, but I just don't particularly want to see Big E vs. Henry. Big E vs. Swagger will be the far better match. I'm actually thinking that Swagger has a chance of winning the title in that match, to help build some sort of "Could it be a huge night for The Real Americans?" vibe about the Elimination Chamber.
* Cesaro is fucking amazing. Love that man so much. Of all the WWE Superstars I would want to meet, I'd actually put Cesaro at the bottom of the list, because I want to risk my man-crush being shattered as much as possible. The clean victory over Orton? It felt like a moment when Cesaro achieved it. I think it took the crowd a while to get into the groove of the match, but I have a feeling that there is a general feeling of admiration for the man. They had him work the face here, and they've clearly had someone working with the guy on his promos behind the scene, and he's not starting to get time to talk on his own. If Swagger wins the IC Title at Elimination Chamber, I could see Cesaro's loss in the Elimination Chamber leading Swagger and Colter turning on Cesaro, which would mean Swagger vs. Cesaro for the IC Title at WrestleMania XXX -- which would be fucking beastly.
* Say what you will about the name change, in his first match since dropping it, Cesaro pins Orton cleanly. Pretty good direction for him. They could just have him called "Tony Cesaro" from now on. But I think Cesaro could catch on. They could start talking about being "Cesaro Strong" and a "Cesaro Nation." Got a ring to it.
* I'm fairly certain the plan will be to have Orton somehow worm out of the Elimination Chamber with his title, but imagine if Cesaro did win the Chamber? Say what you will, but if the WWE plans on having a match other than the WWE World Heavyweight Title match headline, having Cesaro vs. Batista take place at WrestleMania would be far from dreadful. Cesaro is one of the best workers in the world today, and the smarky crowd will almost definitely be behind him. They could even do a double-turn heading into the PPV, with Batista beating up old man Zeb to get heat.

Shield win clean? Or was there Wyatt Family shenanigans?
Christian and Dean Ambrose were the legal men. Christian looked like he had a Killswitch in mind, but Sheamus, who was in the ring as well, went for a Brogue Kick on Ambrose, who dodged, and Christian was taken out. Reigns then Speared Sheamus and Ambrose got the pin on Christian.

Daniel Bryan checked on Christian as Sheamus looked like he had made a boo-boo. Wouldn't surprise me to see Christian cost Sheamus his match against Orton on RAW, which would make for some interesting tensions heading into the Chamber.

As far as Chamber booking goes, with things standing as they are, I'd have Cesaro eliminate Sheamus first and Christian second, going on a bit of a tear. Cesaro has got the look, the ring skills and he's starting to connect with audiences. All he needs now is the credibility. Sheamus is one of the better big men the WWE has ever had, and Christian is fucking Christian, but it just seems like the timing would benefit Cesaro more here.
It's probably the best decision to then have Orton eliminate Cesaro. I'd mark out for Cesaro eliminating Orton and then Cena and Bryan teaming up to take Cesaro out, but Orton is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and I think he needs to pin at least one person in the match. Bryan then forces Orton to submit to The YES! Lock and gets some closure against the man he spent so much time trying to beat last year. Cena and Bryan close the match together, and Bryan proves that SummerSlam was not a fluke as he hits his Running Knee Strike and becomes the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
I do like #1-wwf-fan's idea of Orton being the first guy eliminated, however. They could have this Chamber be the first that featured all six guys in the match at the end, with no one being eliminated. Then everyone hits their finishing moves on Orton and he is eliminated.
