I don't think Punk will be coming back for Mania. However, I do think they're going to make it a triple threat with Orton vs Batista vs Bryan. Which is best, since Batista can't work 10 minutes without needing an oxygen tank.

Of course, that's just what I'd do. Punk has no business in the Main Event this year as a baby-face or even a tweener. The only way it'd be worth it to have him in the match with Bryan, Batista and Orton is if he comes back to Chicago and turns heel. He'd need his entire hometown to boo him...so basically have him run in to "help" Bryan in a title match with Orton for another screwjob. Then he'd get on the mic' and tell Bryan it's not personal, he only did it so that he could get his Wrestlemania moment. That's when we find out the main-event is Punk VS. Orton VS. Batista.

So then when we get to Mania, Bryan eliminates Batista as Punk eliminates Orton for the eventual Bryan victory.

A 4 way match for the title would be a terrible idea and would ruin any sort of chance of the main-event being quality.

Ideally, things would be 1 on 1, but I see it playing out as Bryan vs. Orton vs. Batista.

Bryan defeats Kane or Triple H in a 'qualifying' match of sorts that gets him injected into the main-event.

An even better idea would be to have Bryan vs. Kane on RAW tonight (tonight's the night where they're in Chicago right?), and have Triple H try and interfere. However - Punk comes out, clunks HHH, and helps Bryan defeat Kane.

In thinking of all the outs for my DTTS's bet, I came across the idea that they could have the 6-8 man money in the bank match back at WM ( which would boost the ppv a ton) and have Bryan win and cash in the same night on Bootista or Orton (which would be poetic justice) to win.

Have Reigns, Cesaro, Big E, Sheamus, Christian, Bryan, RVD and a mystery 8th man that could either be Punk or Jericho

That's about the only way I could see Bryan walking out Champion at WM.

Batista's heel turn on Smackdown does make me rethink my previous post. Maybe they are getting smart to the idea that Batista as the returning face ala The Rock the past two years just isn't going to fly and that Orton vs Batista for the title at Mania is a mistake. But I don't really see how they can correct it at this point.

Maybe they'll pull a Nash vs Punk-becomes-HHH vs Punk on us on RAW and Bryan will be added to the main event.

Or maybe Droford's idea above will happen. Seeing Bryan win MITB and then cash in after the main event would be a truly amazing WrestleMania moment. But I don't know if the creative higher ups at WWE are ready to give him that spotlight and take it away from their "chosen ones" in Batista and Orton.

Hard to say right now. I don't put much faith in them though. They've fucked it all up before.
