Drawing ability

Couldn't find a previous thread that talked about this, so here goes...

Since the late 90's - early 00's, I've heard / read on a fairly regular basis about people that, to some, dont draw (for me the most famous example is Jeff Jarrett, especially during said time period).

So that got me thinking; What exactly goes in to determining if a wrestler can or can't draw?

I'm going to guess that merchandise sales and crowd reactions are at least part of it... So, aside from those, what else is included?

Attendance, ratings now since they can narrow it down to segments, buyrates. Crowd reactions can be deceiving depending on the type of crowd. Cena gets booed a lot, but he's far and away the leader in merchandise. Smarks don't like Cena for the most part but a fan in India is more likely going to buy a Cena shirt than a Bryan shirt.

it's such a big machine/empire now spread across so many mediums that, whilst it's not entirely redundant, drawing power doesn't mean close to as much as it did in the past
