Lashley returned though....woooo?

Holy shit. Is that just a weird angle, or was there seriously hardly anyone there?

They usually cram everyone onto one side of the arena and shoot from the other side so it looks like a full house on television.

Yeah, WWE's done the same thing for Smackdown tapings.
Switched it on after watching COSMOS.
Neil Degrasse Tyson > TNA
Hope the undercard was good because all I saw was a Kane/Authority rip-off and an ok main-event. Seems like every TNA ppv is about some rogue group trying to take over TNA (Main Event Mafia, Aces & Eights, MVP's investors club, etc.)

03-10-2014, 03:53 AM
Watching now. This better be good or I might have to stop watching!!!

Former TNA World Champion Chris Sabin.
Clearly that did not put butts in the seats.
Bad News Gertner
03-10-2014, 04:00 AM
This thread has already had more viewers than the actual ppv.

Is anyone watching this on the TNA Network right now?

Some guy stalking Christy Hemme and threatening to commit suicide by jumping off the cage if she doesn't come out. lol
Awesome.

Pretty depressing watching the great Mr. Anderson perform in front of 8 people.
#1-norm-fan
03-10-2014, 04:06 AM
Wait, this is really Mr. Anderson's role on this PPV? Having a match against... whoever the fuck this guy is?
I have no idea why TNA is doing poorly...

03-10-2014, 04:08 AM
Oh shit! Christy gon' get raped!

I have tried to watch TNA in the past, but everything just ends up being a giant clusterfuck. It's like they have the right pieces, but intentionally fuck everything up.

03-10-2014, 04:11 AM
Well this match is all I have to go by but this is infinitely more entertaining than any storyline in WWE's midcard.
el bobbo
03-10-2014, 04:11 AM
I've been feeling similarly towards wwe for the past couple of months too. They have enough money to throw a network at me though...

Derrick Bateman is feuding with Kurt Angle. lol
He's gotten better on the mic since NXT though. He's gone from an awkward, shitty mic worker to a less awkward shitty mic worker.

PLEASE let Lashley speak...
James Steele
03-10-2014, 04:17 AM
 They really brought Lashley back again? Do they not remember how shitty his 1st run in TNA was? There is a reason WWE hasn't brought him back.
TNA is in "rebuilding" mode, but the problem is that they are rebuilding a shanty house.

Everyone seems to be involved in a storyline and some of the storylines actually seem thought out which is good. The right guys just don't seem to be in the right spot on the card. It doesn't help that the atmosphere sucks because there's no crowd.

He was serial killer creepy. I'm a fan.

TNA has been more than watchable as of late. As long as you don't ever hope for a big pay off, it can be quite fun.

lol I heard about the comparisons before but watching this Gail Kim vs Madison Rayne promo video, Gail Kim and Lei D Tapa are entirely too similar to AJ and Tamina.

03-10-2014, 04:31 AM
Damn. That Samoa Joe promo was not terrible.

Title match/the end would have been great in front of people.
lol @ Rockstar Spud's suit. Love that guy.
Bully Ray face turn!

I'm sorry, but it is absurd to bring in Bobby Lashley in 2014 especially considering who they have let go in recent months.
#1-norm-fan
03-10-2014, 04:58 AM
Alright, that actually seemed like a good PPV from a booking standpoint.
Like I said though, there was just no atmosphere to speak of and it made it come off as amateurish. It was a pretty well done PPV though. Sucks that no one cares. It's a step in the right direction though.

To be fair, his asking price can't be that high at this point.

I thoroughly enjoyed this PPV. Shame the crowd sucked.
Pleasant surprise to see Muta
Tigre Uno v Manik was fucking incredible.
Anderson v Shaw was a nice continuation of the story.
Storm v Gunner was entertaining for a LMS match.
Knockouts match was average but still better than anything Divas.
Magnus v Joe was the worst outcome but I see why they ran that way.
Final match was solid with Willow and Bully thrown in.

Samuel shaw is a fucking dexter ripoff 5 years after dexter stopped being cool.
Way to go TNA.
Bobby Lashley had an ok run 6 years ago and they bring him back and no one cares. He is tnas poor man version of Batista. He will have a shot at Magnus within 2 weeks.

I'll give them this, bringing in international talent randomly for one off ppv matches just to showcase talent is awesome. Loved that about wcw and ecw.

Even more awesome thinking about the amount of money they spent on that, especially Muta and have 37 people show up.

They could always spend money on putting up another billboard up in Stamford, CT.
That turned out to be a strong financial move.

I almost expected more from this thread, until I saw the kind of people posting in it.
There were some very sweet matches on this show, and solid story continuation.
It's just a shame the American crowds don't seem to turn up, or be that into anything they do, compared to the crowds they had in the UK.

TNA should give tickets to homeless people to make the crowd look bigger. Could you imagine how much better a LOL TNA show would be if this bunch was at ringside?

Yes but will they be able to bring their carts with them? They probably have valuable bottles in there.

Brits also sold out WCW shows in the 2000's. Take that for what you will.
the only thing going to be on lockdown after the buyrate for this show is the TNA Corporate Offices when they are seized for bankruptcy.

TNA could buy those bottles in exchange for food and temporary shelter. Maybe even offer free showers to those guys.

They should really look into basing 6 months or a year in the UK. The crowds are always amped and don't die off in hours 3 and 4 of the tapings.

The expenses would be higher, but they could make it up at the gates for the house shows if they draw good crowds.

TNA only does well in the UK because they are so fucking starved for major league wrestling action. They get what, 4 shows from the WWE live a year?

Maybe TNA should do all their PPVs in the UK...
