Any opinions on it and how it may happen?

choosing between yes and no, I'd say yes. Probably by interrupting somebody i.e Brock, The Authority etc, to "pay his respects" to Taker, maybe a video package etc

Yes. Sting comes out as Taker is retiring and sets up one last Taker Mania match next year. Year long build ala Rocky/Cena few years ago.

Apparently 'Taker just left the hospital this morning. I do not see Undertaker being on RAW tonight.

don't see this "announce Sting/Taker for Mania next year" that so many think happening at all. Of course I could be wrong but too much can wrong between now and then. Assuming Sting has signed, does he just do nothing for a year? There are health issues, Sting could bomb in WWE etc, it just wouldn't make sense. If Sting/Taker were ever to happen, I'd guess they pull the trigger now and do it in the next couple of months or simply don't announce it and have Sting work part time up until January/February. Still think Taker is "done" tho

I feel like he will but I'm not sure what they will do with him.

He is less able to move about than Taker. His Scorpion Death Locks have looked gingerly the last few years.

Yeah I agree. The more I've thought about it, I don't think we'll see Sting/Taker. I think for Taker's own personal health, he'd be best to hang up the boots after last night. He wasn't his former self in the ring, and he's not getting any younger.

In saying that, I wonder who they would have Sting face instead. Crow Sting vs Bray Wyatt could be interesting.

bunch of guys he could have passable matches with, he'd do fine with Wyatt, Orton, Shield, Bryan, Ziggler etc etc. Sting/Wyatts could make for some outstanding "visuals"/production tho, especially if they basically pretend the last 13-15 years haven't happened for Sting

Leaning towards no for today but Sting to eventually show up or be teased before Taker goes on his long yearly hibernation.

Early Cena was very STING-esque in his moveset.

Bray/Sting would be interesting.

I can see a Cena/Sting vs. Wyatts

Sting vs Wyatt's would definitely work.

Sting is going to introduce AJ Styles and they're going to beat the USOs for the tag titles.
