The very first match on the very first live show I ever went to had Barry Horowitz in it playing heel. But there was still a guy in the crowd who had his back. During the match he was yelling "You got him, Barry! You got him right where you want him!". Barry would yell out to get some heat, "Now it's time to go to school!". The one-man-cheer-squad answered, "You take him to school, Barry! You know how to do it!". Finally Barry yelled out to the guy, "SHUT UP!!!" There was a 5 second pause, then the guy did a total heel turn. "Barry sucks! Barry's a fairy!"

It was hilarious and it was my first introduction to live professional wrestling. Therefore, the winner is clearly Barry Horowitz.

Idk if that was a sarcastic post but losing a main event match at WM does not make you a jobber at all...

Mikey was hardly a jobber.

He's a former ECW World Heavyweight Champion.

Just thought I'd question whether or not Ryder fits in the jobber category. I mean, sure, that's all he does RIGHT NOW, but he has been Tag Team and US Champion, put together a string of wins on Superstars sometime around '08 or '09, not to mention (even though he got owned in it) he DID technically recieve a WWE Championship opportunity vs. Sheamus on RAW.

Crippla
04-13-2014, 01:56 PM
Well he is a jobber RIGHT NOW and has been for some time. Def fits the category.

The answer is Barry Horowitz. Why? Because he could actually work well enough to get the crowd fired up for his comeback and always had a chance.

yeah I'd agree with this. He was very versatile and he actually brought up this point. If you needed him to he could go 9 minutes with Bret or Shawn and have a good fun match (obviously no an MOTY because that was not what he was there for) or he could make Diesel or Yoko look like fucking monsters. If the man has a better look, he coulda been something. But he looked like the ultimate job guy. I would call him more an "enhancement talent" out of respect. And he even had a couple of storylines, when really he only ever had business putting EVERYONE over.

I would Horowitz put the "talent" in enhancement talent.
