ok, watched some of judgement day, and is it me or am i smelling a comeback for a certain former Nwo *in wcw/wwe* member who's finsher was none other then.................... the outsiders edge..... it just may be me but are they bringing scott hall or kevin nash back? or is mordici just another one of vince's famous screw with the fans mind. Now i understand easily the outsiders edge CAN be done by anyone else, but it just seems to me that it's scott hall!

oh boy.

Scott Hall had like 2 or 3 chances with the WWE, and he ****ed all of them equally up. Him and Nash will definitely not be back in the WWE. I don't see how Vince is "screwing" with any minds, seeing as how it's a viable move for anyone to use. It fits his character really. It resembles a religious cross when it's in the air :D.

Welcome to the forums. I'm waiting for the first person to denounce the "ex backyard wrestler" in your title, or the "jeffhardyfav" in your username :). This whole post is an internet beatdown waiting to happen, LOL :)

The finishing move has nothing to do with Scott Hall.
It's just a look-a-like crucafix.

Like bluto said, the finisher is made to look like the opponent is on a crucifix. He's got the whole religious thing going for him, so it makes sense to me that it would be his finisher.

One. Your SN reflects that you are a Jeff Hardy fan. Probably an idiot.

Two. You are an Ex backyard wrestler. Clearly, you're an idiot.

Three. In what must be a record, you established yourself as one of the stupidest people on these boards in only two posts. Your rudimentary grasp of the English language amuses me, but you seem to be on some kind of hallucinogenic drug.

Perhaps they'll ally him with 'Taker. What am I saying? This is taylor made for an alliance with the Undertaker. *Le Sigh* Another character gone to waste.

Jeff Hardy comments aside, I don't think this has anything to do with Scott Hall...rather, the Razor's Edge was just an appropriate finisher for Mordecai to use.

as for Scott Hall...I don't believe he really messed up his last chance in WWE... WWE themselves jumped the gun by firing him when they did. His matches weren't 4-star, or even 2.5 star...but he played the role he was handed. By doing so, WWE pretty much screwed themselves after Austin had left by accelerating a Hogan red/yellow face turn and breaking up the nWo... when Hall was gone, that angle was officially dead. Not even the return of Shawn Michaels could save it (though, it would have been sweet if Hall was still there when that happened). Now, in WCW, yeah...he really did get trashed and showed it on stage. The stuff he did the last time he was WWE was all in character. His ring work wasn't looking like Je -- whoops, aw, eff it. His ring work wasn't looking like Jeff Hardy's before he got the boot, at all.

Wildcat789
05-17-2004, 10:39 PM
Hall didn't get booted out of his final run in the wwe cuz of his in ring work (even though it wasn't nearly as good as the Hall I know). He was booted out ebcause he was becoming a complete drunk. He couldn't wrestle because he was in a drunken-stooper. Not that his ring work wasn't bad, but I doubt it was the reason.

But, on the actuall topic, this whole Mordicai...or however the f*** its spelled. He sux! I know that Tazz and cole tried to sell him as creepy and all god fearing and such. But, I was bored out of my mind by the match.

excuse me, while I don't give a care what they do with the Albino dude!

Of course you're a Hardy fan and a stoner, so your opinion means nothing. :p

Anyway, everyone's explained it: crucifix bomb => religious connotation, etc... etc...

Rico's "Gay." Haas isn't.

They're a tag team.

Kane was a supernatural monster with powers. He teamed with X-Pac.

Strange bedfellows can still work, especially if they had a common enemy.

To further with KK's point, how's about the Rock 'N' Sock Connection? One of them was a chiseled, fast-moving, fast-talking, Muhammad-Ali-clone egomaniac. The other was an out-of-shape, goofy looking, even goofier acting slob whose main selling point was that he was really good at getting the shit beaten out of him. And they ended up being one of the most entertaining acts of all-time. Come to think of it, it's almost hard to picture the one without the other these days, since their work together was absolutely priceless.

But anyways, to the main point of discussion: this new Mordecai fella. I haven't seen his in-ring work yet, but his promos are impressive, and his gimmick has a lot of potential, almost a no-brainer that he'll inevitably lock horns with the Undertaker either at the Great American Bash or Summerslam. He could be just what Taker needs in a long-term opponent, now that Kane's on Raw. I'd just tweak his costume around a little, because the semi see-through tank top just looks kind of silly.

Kane Knight
05-18-2004, 04:34 AM
Yeah, it's easy to be impressed by his promos. The question is how much he delivers in ring. I can't get behind a good promo unless the guy can back it up in the ring. You don't need to be Kurt Angle. The aforementioned Mick Foley can still make it look good in the ring, though he's far from a phennomenal athlete with 600 holds...

Yeah, I figured this was going to get brought up. The point I was trying to make was that everybody is saying that Taker and Mordecai are going to ally, and that makes somebody sound so absolutely stupid. I mean, think about it. Saying that Taker and Mordecai will stable this early in Mordecai's career is like saying Bubba Ray Dudley should team with Rosey because they're both fat and out of shape. I say that we should try and give Mordecai, what, one Smackdown before we start randomly throwing him in stables? Please? :|

So, I just watched the Mordecai and Scotty Too Hotty match and I must say that Mordecai is pretty good in the ring. I love all the mannerisms he does in the ring and during his entrance. Like when he enters he extends his arms out to the audience almost as if he is trying to purify them. If anyone has ever been to Church on here, it reminds me of when the priest walks around blessing the people with holy water. TheN as soon as he gets into the ring he prays in the corner for like 40 seconds. Nice Touch.

The match was pretty much a squash with Mordecai dishing out some good pain. I like the slow/weary pace Mordecai has as it's like a Jake Roberts. The Razor's Edge is a great finisher for him and I love how he looks right up to heaven/The Father, right before he does the move.
