Enjoyed the AJ episode thoroughly walking home from work today. AJ not being home as much now doesn't surprise me when TNA did most of their shows in the same place.

Somebody needs to get Bad Company and AJ a movie deal and maybe turn that story into a version of the Hangover.

Damon, we even tried to get him to tell us the story off mic and he wouldn't do it...SUPER awesome guy though....minus not telling us that story he alluded to.

Trying to get Kevin Sullivan on with us this weekend, is there anything you guys would like to hear him talk about or questions you have?

memories of Eddie Graham & Gordon Solie

ask him about his feud with Dusty Rhodes.

also ask about his Army of Darkness faction in Championship Wrestling from Florida. Ask who's idea it was to bring in Mark Lewin as The Purple Haze.

any memories on manager Sir Oliver Humperdink.

Great questions, thank you Seth.

Got to meet him as he was brought in as an "adviser" for this promotion in WV we were at but did not get the chance to sit down with either he or Mason Ryan (super nice guy btw), but I'm hoping in a couple of weeks to go back down or to get him on the phone soon and I will ask him those if I can get him on.

I did get to interview Cleveland/Pittsburgh area promoter/announcer Joe Dombrowski who has a dvd called "The Montreal Theory" that is a fascinating interview:

more questions for Kevin Sullivan:

ask about his time in Memphis around 1981.

his thoughts on Jimmy Hart, Jerry Lawler & Lance Russell.

what he thought of the towns they ran and the payouts.

also ask about his run as a lower end wrestler in the WWWF.

SlickyTrickyDamon
06-26-2014, 03:34 PM
If you ever talk to him in an interview ask him what he thinks about Bray Wyatt and how he can actually get people to boo him.

Was supposed to a couple of weeks ago but the timing wasn't right...I will keep those in mind if I can make it to the WV shows my buddies are on though.

Thanks guys for the questions, love the feedback.

Recorded a new one with the promoter of War Wrestling based in NW Ohio that is pretty interesting as he gives an insight to booking and promoting and the scene in Ohio: http://www.podcastgarden.com/episode/tales-from-the-indies-episode-11_20565

Got to interview a guy by the name of Chris The Brain who not only managed but also used to book the HWA when a guy named Jon Moxley was a prominent member. He tells some really great stories about Mox in the new installement of tales from the indies:

There was a convention in Ohio this week called Wrestling Geekfest, and we got to talk to former WWE Superstar Paul London.

Listen as he talks shit about Virgil (with him 10 feet away mind you) and a whole lot of other things: http://www.podcastgarden.com/episode/tales-from-the-indies-episode-21_55483

TFTI is available on Itunes and has had great guests in the past like AJ Styles and Dick Justice.

No, but he did talk about a LOT of other stuff. I wanted to ask about that but once you hear how the convo goes you'll see why it never came to that.
