The whole thing about not telling Patty seems "ridiculous".... I mean, you told your ex-girlfriend without much hesitation....

On top of that, the logic of not wanting to tell her because The Flash's enemies might use her against him is kind of flawed.... because that only happens if they find out who The Flash is. Then if they find out The Flash is Barry Allen, they can find out his loved ones. The loved ones knowing he is or isn't The Flash doesn't play into that mix at all. Except to maybe HELP them in the event of such an attack they can have "procedures" in place and be "ready". Instead of being blindsided by it all.

The Reverse Flash is a really good character. I prefer Tom Cavaugh to be the Reverse Flash, but still that is a solid character and I can't wait till he comes back.

this is likeliest. there's been no indication at all that kryptonians exist in dc's cw universe. we've only just had a hint that batman might be operating via arrow, much less the idea that superman has been an established and well-known hero for long enough that supergirl has risen in his wake (as she has in her own show). imagine this all plays into the parallel earths thing the flash has engineered.

would love to see welling back as superman (actual superman) via multiverse explanation. could see him looking ollie up and down and just being like "you are absolutely nothing like the oliver queen i know"

i absolutely didn't mean welling/smallville for the supergirl crossover, but i didn't really make that clear. i meant just in general at some stage in flash's run. not even necessarily this season. just that they've opened the possibility of parallel earths and, if done right and not overly smallville-ishly, seeing a fully grown superman from another earth - one who we have some modicum of connection to - would be nice, is all.

Halfway through this ep I thought "Ok, it's obvious now".... That the "real" Jay Garrick is the man in the iron mask. The one that was running around Earth One is actually the Earth Two Hunter Zolomon posing as Jay, but is actually Zoom.

Then by the end of the ep I thought "Ok, maybe not. Probably not. I don't know what's going on anymore."

dude under the mask def looked like jay in the neck and back of head area... thinking maybe the whole "earth 1" and "earth 2" focus is a swerve because there are obviously other earths; supergirl crossover all but confirms that. so seems like zoom might be earth-whatever jay/hunter zolomon, iron mask is earth-also-whatever jay, earth-1 jay is a hunter zolomon, and earth-2 jay is earth-2 jay, maybe? so like... jays from four earths? idk. i feel like it's coming down to either jay or henry but they're angling for the former and i think that would have to involve more than just two earths

Just watched Supergirl/Flash episode.... loved it.... feel like Barry meshed in and worked very well with all the characters....

Loved the mix of the theme musics through the course of the episode....

Laughed at Cat Grant's comment about them looking like the cast of a CW show.....

It does remind me of Lois and Clark new adventures of Superman for that very reason.

I like this Teddy Sears... I think he's doing a good job. Kind of feel that Zoom has been the biggest threat as a villain in either Arrow or The Flash, and I guess Legends of Tomorrow.

So wild speculation about the dude in the Iron Mask. While I agree that it most likely is Jay Garrick...However that is not mind blowing and the creators of Flash are saying that it is "Mind Blowing!"

So based off it being mind blowing my prediction is Eobared Thawne. Don't know how or don't know why, but that's my guess. Only thing I could base it on is how did he recognize Jay Garrick's helmet in the finale last year? Well maybe because he saw it when he was prisoner of Zoom.

I watched supergirl on netflix AND I LOVED IT. Budget will be interesting this season. They had a 3mil per ep beudget on CBS and they will have much MUCH less going into CW. But I hope they can make it work.

Just finished the episode where they catch Thone and then have to send him back in time to save Cisco. I love out they brought that all the way around and explained that its Thons orgin story and how it's how he knew Wells, Cisco, Flash, Joe and Caitlyn. It makes the whole car crash scene and why he chose Wells make complete sense.

Thank Christ. This season is long overdue some levity. I miss season one, or at least its tone. Legends of Tomorrow has so much joy these days, and has become such a strong show generally - it's sad to see The Flash wallow in the same pit over and over - big bad speedster, Barry never learns anything, everyone still keeping secrets after a million "let's never keep secrets again!" speeches...

Also I get that it's necessary to the plot but the whole "Wally has to save Iris because he's faster than Barry" kind of negates the opening "My name is Barry Allen, and I'm the fastest man alive" spiel, no?

HR is still great though. Tom Cavanagh is a gift. Wonder if HR is Savitar. They are the only two characters who call Wally "Wallace", that line about how he "love[s] a good myth"... Not that I really want another "it was Wells all along!" reveal bc I just kind of want a Wells to stick around and be Wells for more than a single season. Which we ALMOST got with Harry. Man, I miss Harry.

If they stopped Savitar, why is there still a Speed Force prison..... they have no need to make one now..... I guess the things that Savitar "already did" in their timeline sticks around (giving Wally powers, killing HR)..... but surely things that have yet to happen are erased.....

Although I guess maybe the Speed Force is "infinite", so they create a prison in the future and it sticks around forever throughout all time, even if they erase the history where they create the prison.....

I liked Barry's emotional goodbyes, intercut with shots of lightning wreaking havoc on people.....

Got caught up on this. Really liked the main baddie and his wife as far as actors go. Interesting arc and the storylines were good even though a few of them wrapped up a bit to easily and neatly. Flash is still my fave amongst the superhero shows on cw but i think this is more due to how much i enjoy the cast than anything. Csndice Patton is still my primo crush in life.

Really enjoyed The Thinker as the main baddie this season. Thought he was defeated a bit too easily when it came down to it, but whatever. I also had the whole thing with Ralph "spoiled" for me beforehand via reading he was gonna be a regular next season before I even got to the episode where he died. So lost a lot of "emotional impact" maybe.

Well episode 1-11 were a total snooze this season, but episode 12 just stepped up in a big way. I dont like the main villain, but I have a feeling the little girl might be the actual main villain. I'm kinda digging it, but I need to see EP 13 which i'm about to watch now.
