I'll just go ahead and be "THAT guy" and say I'm really hoping for an official announcement from Bethesda of Fallout 4 being in development. I mean, they just released TESO and they don't appear to be working on a whole lot of other known titles.

Besides people already know it's been in development for a while now, might as well at least show a trailer for it and maybe even give at least some vague idea of when a potential release could be expected.

I know it's probably a longshot, but I would love for Microsoft to announce backwards compatibility for the One. Would go buy one the day the update dropped. As it stands I'm waiting until I finish my 360 games before buying anything new.

Looking forward to Ubisoft and Sony's pressers. Would like to see Sony keep the pressure on Microsoft and drop another big bombshell.

An announcement of the Destiny beta start date would be wonderful.

That's really about it, everything thing else is either getting pushed back or I have little interest in.

I really don't have patience for gimmicks this year. Just wanna see games. Particularly Japanese games.

A new UI for X1 would be nice, too.

I was also surprised to see David Jones along with Crackdown.

According to Ubisoft, their press conference could have included at least one more game which would have been for the Wii U. Supposedly its been finished for the past few months and would likely get released around the time of Smash Bros's launch.

The problem is they don't want to release it until their demand of more Wii U consoles gets sold.

Tim Schafer cleared up some issues with Grim Fandango's Remastered status. Lots of sites immediately thought it was just a PS4 and Vita exclusive but likely is going to be a timed one instead.

Yea I watched the MS show and was left with 1 thought in my mind: Do they care about anything other than Halo and MAYBE Forza?

Seriously, another year, another Halo remake and another new entry. Another year, another Forza. At least Forza's a sequel to Horizon and will hopefully be better than the last years offering, aka, worst Forza since original.

Oh well, at least Sunset Overdrive looks like a good exclusive.

MS needs to step it up. I want something fresh and compelling to play on my super cable box. Instead of TV. At least that new DR3 content looks incredible in the meantime, gonna have to get that tomorrow.

I'll give my thoughts on the Sony conference tomorrow, as I missed most of it due to RAW. From what I have read thus far, however, it seems they didn't fare much better than MS, outside of a few surprises like Grim Fandango. Everything I've seen thus far was already known or expected. But still, U4 is the prettiest thing I've ever seen on a console (by FAR) if that footage is legit.

I kind of want a similar story style to 6.

A Jill/Barry story, a Leon/Ada story, a Sheeva/Josh story, and a Chris/Claire story.

If you're going to go big, might as well bring in as many big players as you can from the series.

I rather not. Those characters are superheroes now. They will survive, their superheroics aren't 'horror' by any means (maybe for the villains). There is no tension at all, storywise. I would use new characters.

The Survival Horror tropes must also be revived in the gameplay sense, and RE6 did so only in little degrees. This is unacceptable for the biggest survival horror franchise out there. We need to return to a time where players are terrified to walk down a dark hallway. And not fearing a jump scare; fear of dying in that hallway. We need a return to that gameplay, characters and story be damned.

Really you mostly described all the shows. They all had fanboys going gaga over things. Sequels, reboots, and zombies are everywhere. My big gripe on Sony is how awkwardly planned it was. Boring ass speeches prolonging the show for no reason. Microsoft's pace was to me the ideal E3 showing.

Between Nintendo's direct and their ongoing Tree House stream (it's been great), they totally owned this year. In fact I think the others should roll with that. The old Ted Talk thing is getting a bit pretentious now.

The special hour 3DS event today from Nintendo ended up being the reveal of a brand new game called Codename: S.T.E.A.M.

Nintendo decided to hold one more surprise for E3: a brand-new IP for the 3DS from Shigeru Miyamoto and Histoshi Yamagami, apparently designed by Intelligent Systems, creators of the Fire Emblem and Advance Wars series of games. Codename: S.T.E.A.M. is a turn-based strategy game with some action elements, set in a world where all technology is steam-based. The world is under attack by alien forces, and none other than Abraham Lincoln has commissioned a fighting force of steam-powered units to fight them off. It will launch in 2015.

Phantom Pain in a close second. Wasn't even really hyped for MGSV until I saw that trailer. Now I want to buy Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes to catch up story wise.

I watched the presentation of Playstation and it was so God damn boring

Looks like a bunch of sequels, a bunch of shooting games, some "visually striking" indie games, Zombie shit, reboots, DLC, "social gaming," and a bunch of fanboys hooting and hollering at every little jab the guys took at Microsoft.

This is why I skipped everything but Nintendos stuff. Without watching or reading about Microsofts show, I bet I can summarize it quite well.

Was gonna go in depth on Sony and Nintendo, but theres no point really.

I rank E3 as follows: Presentation wise, Nintendo wins, followed by MS and then Sony. Content wise, Nintendo still wins, followed by Sony and then MS.

Seriously, Sony and Microsofts conferences were just boring, by the numbers business presentations.

Meanwhile, Nintendo comes out and immediately just kicks everyone in the balls with a Iwata vs Reggie DBZ fight, and then it;s just game after game in rapid fire with out any bullshit filler.

Nintendo's switch from presentations to these direct streams has worked really well, I expect Sony and Microsoft to start doing that as well in the vain of them copying everything that Nintendo does.

Looks like I'll have to miss Sony's conference as I'll be watching Raw.

Hopefully I can catch it tomorrow on YouTube without anything being spoiled for me.
