Only concern I got right now is travel. I don't know how much of Manhattan we got to play with, but it felt like forever just going from point A to point B. Wonder if they'll take a page out of Destiny's book and give us dirt bikes or maybe we can restart the subway or something.

Definitely will be more fun with a squad of friends, but not bad solo either.

Maybe muck around more outside the Dark Zone and try to get some gear. I will be buying this game for sure.

Spent a lot of time in the DZ and love it. They should just leave the beta up until launch and expand the test. It would be good for stressing the servers as well as increasing the DZ population.
Finally encountered some NPC's and was able to gather some loot. All greens now and next time I head back to a stash I should have enough to buy some blue gear from the DZ vendor.
The only stash I can find is back at HQ at the post office.... am I missing one?

Tried Dark Zone... didn't really "get" what was going on. Seemed really rare getting any lootable encounters, and while the concept of "rogue" is a neat PvP wrinkle, I didn't really appreaciate being baited into it (had some asshole keep shooting me until I killed him, then suddenly I'm the asshole!), and there didn't seem to be too much upside to killing red players.
So, if I were to pick it up at launch, do we get to keep our shit, or is this an excercise in futility, where everyone starts again at one unless they microtransaction themselves into a frenzy?

Enemy AI encounters are somewhat rare in the DZ from the Beta too. Maybe that will change with the full release? Primarily, the DZ is for "world PVP" if you will. Killing Rogue's nets you DZ Exp and DZ $$$$ to buy really good gear. However, when you are killed in the DZ you lose DZ Exp and $$$, and a shit ton more if you die while Rogue.
As far as being baited goes:
You get a few warnings advising that continuing to attack a non-hostile Agent will make you Rogue. If the guy was shooting you enough, he should have turned red (indicating he went rogue) and you can kill Rogue agents without being turned Rogue yourself.
There is also a timer for turning Rogue, in the instance of friendly fire (happens a lot around extraction points). When you first go Rogue, you have a timer (usually 20-30 seconds) and if you do not make any hostile moves against non-hostile agents, you will go back to being a non-hostile agent.
Definitely some tweaks they could make, but I would like to see how the DZ plays out with a higher population.

I actually lost a DZ rank for dying as a Rogue last night. I mistakenly went Rogue when a PUG group I was a part of were Rogue hunting. Shot a friendly in an extraction zone which made me Rogue and was lit up quick by everyone around.

Next beta rumored to be occurring from February 16th till February 21st and be partially exclusive to the Xbox One.
Ubisoft extended the Division closed beta for a day, but there may be hope yet if you wanted to get in. According to this post from the Xbox Italy Facebook account, Microsoft will host an event that's open to everyone from February 16-21.
The post has since been removed from said account, so it's looking like it has merit. The leak also teases EA Access "Play It First" programs for Unravel and Garden Warfare 2, as well as an "Xbox exclusive" beta for Homefront: The Revolution. According to the Division listing, the open session will have 24 hours of Xbox exclusivity.

The file size of Tom Clancy’s The Division on Xbox One has been revealed via a listing on the Xbox Store.
An update to the game’s Xbox Store listing reveals that the game will take up 32.3 GB of space on players’ hard drives, which is just 5 GB more than the closed beta client.
Yesterday, one of the game’s developers revealed that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will be able to disable particular lighting effects to improve the game’s framerate.
PS4 and PC version should be around the same size in terms of hard drive space needed.

Yeah, I eventually figured that out (hardway), but the guy was taking pot shots and ducking. I didn't know he was a PC, as he was acting like the scattered AI I had encountered. I kept getting chip shots , so I shot back as one is apt to do. When I sniped his ass, of course, I went Rogue. Then, two more agents swooped in and started shooting the hell out of me. Basically, the one egged me into killing him so the others could bonus off of my ignorance.
The other trap is thr extraction point. There were quite a few times when there were multiple people at a chopper, and a group of about 3 would come in, X off everyone, and take all the loot for themselves... even when the point got swarmed with mooks we were trying to fend off. And you can't just get revenge, because by the time you respawn and get back to point of death, unless they're just being class A douchenozzles and racking up a multiple minute red timer or they're right by a spawn point (which they rarely are), they are no longer rogue and you just got screwed thrice (death, robbery, and no reciept).
You should get a revenge marker or something... kill the guy who just killed you. Or at least make the red timer last longer for the person who you just offed than everyone else.
As for AI encounters in DZ, I meant the encounters where you find loot to begin with. Once you find something, they seem to come out of the woodwork, especially at a ground-level extraction zone and particularly at night (in game). Don't know if the freaks coming out at night (thanks, Whodini) was intentional, or if it just happened to work out that way during my playthrough, but that seemed to be the pattern.
With all that said, I'll likely get this at some point. But for XBONE. And DZ won't see me very often.

Some details regarding the upcoming beta for the game.
Ubisoft has added some extra content to this, so it won't be the exact same as the beta from a few weeks ago. According to this trailer, there's an "exclusive open beta mission." It hasn't been said if this is the only difference, but the PvP Dark Zone has likely been tweaked. And, all those PC exploits have probably been addressed.
To save concern about pesky download times, The Division's open beta is available to pre-load on all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One). The file size looks to weigh in right under 25GB. For those who still have it installed from the previous beta, a new download isn't necessary; there will be a smaller patch to bring it up to date.

It's certainly a valid point, but that's the risk with the vast majority of console games now that demo's aren't as big as they used to be. But going by the premise I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Meh. I found exactly the opposite true. I have had shitty drops (rate good, but mostly sucky grey gear worse than I got already compared to last time. Even the cosmetic clothing drops have been pretty bad for me this go 'round) and found more lockpicks than I know what to do with this time around (though that spot you need one in MSG still seems to be a wasteful, contaminated deathtrap with no reward... maybe they're saving putting something good in that room for the final retail release.)

Ended up buying it. It was like $45 for the Gold version in Argentina so I thought fuck it.
Year 1 DLC plan had a lot to do with it:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/c_qUtFkdPEk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Additionally, two free updates, available to all players, will hit in the months following launch. Beginning in April, the Incursions update will add an endgame activity designed for squad play, challenging teams of four players to face nigh-unstoppable enemies for high-level loot. Also coming with the Incursions update is loot trading. Players in the same squad will be able to trade loot that’s collected during their co-op game session. The Conflict update will follow in May, adding new Dark Zone feature and an incursion into New York’s Columbus Circle.
Three paid expansions are also planned throughout the year, and will be available to players with a Season Pass or to those who buy the Gold or Collector’s Edition of the game. In June, the Underground expansion will send you to hunt enemies in the vast mazes of tunnels and subways that run under Manhattan. Underground will be followed by Survival later in the summer, which will challenge you to survive for as long as possible in a very hostile environment while gathering supplies and equipment. Finally, Last Stand will arrive along with winter, challenging players with a new, relentless threat.

Ubisoft revealed their DLC plans for the game which is a mix of free and paid stuff:
Let's talk about free first. Incursion mode will be introduced a month after launch. This end-game content "developed specifically for squad play" will have teams battle against "seemingly unstoppable enemies" to gain high-level equipment. Loot trading between co-op players (which Ubisoft says is one of the most-requested features by the community) will also be part of this April update. May brings new features to the Dark Zone and a new Incursion in Columbus Circle.
Now for the paid content, which you can get through the Season Pass, Gold Edition, or Collector's Edition of the game. June heralds the first expansion, Underground, where players will explore the "uncharted underworld of New York City." The idea of an expansion based almost exclusively on subways makes my right eye twitch, but let's move on. Expansion numero dos, Survival, comes out this summer, but the description is fairly vague: "This expansion will challenge players to survive as long as possible by gathering essential supplies in a very hostile environment." Hmm. The final expansion (for this first year!) is called The Last Stand and brings a new threat next winter, where you and your squad must "prepare to defend against a relentless foe."

Xbox One to get one month timed exclusivity for 2 of the 3 DLC packs already announced for the game.
Microsoft isn't getting shut out, however. Just today, Ubisoft announced that the first two Division add-ons will be Xbox exclusives for 30 days. Underground and Survival are scheduled for later in the summer; whenever they're set for release, tack on one month to get the PC and PS4 dates. The final DLC pack, Last Stand, arrives this winter to a simultaneous launch across all platforms.

Didn't take long before people found a really easy way to troll people in the game and its not due to any game-breaking issue. Only way to avoid the problem is to cause the game to glitch when it occurs.
As a possible reference, when Ubisoft compiled all the stats for the beta, it turned out the biggest threat in the game were members of your own team. Something around half of the deaths in the game were from teammates killing each other.
Mere hours after the game's launch, people have found that players spawning in the first safehouse can't progress if someone just stands in the door. Everyone else is trapped inside, just watching this jamoke wave at them. Seeing how it's launch day and The Division is a highly anticipated game, it seems as if a whole lot of people are either griefing or being griefed right now.
Luckily, there's one workaround. It's being reported that if you just continually run at the doorway guy for a few seconds, you'll eventually phase through him. It won't to try pushing him or constantly backing up to squeeze past. You have to just run on the spot until you clip through.

DZ seems to have been tweaked again. Big one is your actual campaign level determines difficulty, not DZ rank. And there have been even more mooks added, which seems to be helpful in combating the griefer asshats looking to shoot at anything running. Also, if you take the ability that I'm just going to call "the beer cooler" (it is that placable medstation) and toss it under the extraction rope, it cuts down the ability of random guy shooting you in the back and making off with your goods. And, once again, being heavier on the NPC spawning makes it less of an issue when you already have a potentially upleveled army swarming. Doesn't do good to piss off a potential friendly gun when you can be killed before you get a chance to steal things fair and square.
Got tricked by an "Agent" NPC, though. Seems to run around solo and can easily be mistaken for a non-rogue player, and deals fairly high damage (unless my gear was just still super shitty).

Doesn't look like it so much. Only person I found so far to be remotely cool was the chick in the safehouse in the northeast 28-30 area (forgot the secton of town) near the DZ06 gate. I'm severely underleveled for there still, so I had to sneak through the DZ to hit it up, and I can't realy go anywhere there without getting one-shot taken out by snipers I can't even see, let alone target.
But at least they have some sort of personality, albeit bad ones. Even the guy that does the endless, inconsolable sobbing is less irritating than "My back is all fucked up...", and I think *he* is why you can't open fire in safe zones.

Easter eggs in The Division continue to be discovered in the weeks since its release. The latest, while small, is a pretty clear reference to one of the most iconic Saturday Night Live characters played by the late Chris Farley.
http://static5.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/123/1239113/3027245-division.jpg
The secret is hiding in one of the game's Echoes, the holographic reconstructions of past events that you're able to discover around New York. As shown in the screenshot above (shared on Reddit by user Awes10), one of the people whose background you can examine in an Echo is listed as someone who "lives in a van down by the river." He's also unemployed.
That's an obvious tip of the hat to Matt Foley, a character played by Farley on SNL. Brought in as a motivational speaker to turn around the life of two kids, Foley proceeds to craft one of the most memorable characters the show has ever seen.

Took them about a week but Ubisoft recently managed to discover what was causing the backpack bug that was kicking people out from playing the game. Currently working on a patch but no date was revealed for its arrival.
Patch itself may or may not end up being included in the bigger April update for the game.
Ubisoft was able to identify the source of the problem thanks in part to feedback from fans, who filled up 129 pages worth of comments about the issue.
A patch to fix the issue will be released "as soon as possible," the developer said, also providing a recommendation for how to avoid the issue in the meantime.
"It's our top priority in bug fixing," Ubisoft said. "In the meantime, we would like to advise you not to attach mods on items you are not using. We'd like to thank you again for your cooperation and patience."

Starting with next week's patch for the game, Ubisoft is going to enact new rules for punishing players who cheat with the PC version of the game.
Ubisoft developers Massive Entertainment recently held a stream where some of the finer points of the April 12 patch were discussed. It was there that this new policy came to light. According to community developer Yannick Banchereau, the first offense will be a three-day suspension without warning, and the second offense will be a permanent ban from The Division.
"We are not going to pretend that we are 100 percent happy with the situation. It is something we're working on, and we should have some better solutions coming in the future. We are looking at improving it. We are catching a lot of people, so it's not as if there was nothing being done, but of course we can always improve on that," Banchereau commented.
Players will soon have a more effective method of reporting cheaters, too. One of the additions in the April 12 update on PC is a "/report [username]" command that automatically flags someone's account for review. Massive says that it'll look into each of those reports.

I like how Massive is really addressing these problems. Killing named NPCs will guarantee you a piece of high end loot. So most of us will be able to catch up to the 1%. Instead of going through this horrible grind.
Although, been hearing stories the dev team hasn't been able to beat the upcoming Incursion. From what I'm hearing, it's really hard.

Oh believe me. Massive is quick on putting the kabosh on anything cheese or exploits.
Between the Russian Consulate, Madison Field Hospital, and district elite boss farms, getting a bit harder to get better gear fast.
Hm. Better hit the Police Academy up while I still can. This whole 1-3 phx creds for a named boss is brutal as it is. And that "High End guarantee" doesn't really seem to be a guarantee unless you finish a Challenging map, which is cheap the other way. (Like spamming shotgunners who are 1-2 shotting you from 50ft away while doing that super run, and 3 or 4 guys who throw grenades fasfer than the rate of an enemy with a grenade launcher ). Even with a high Scavenger rate (somewhere around 160 currently), I still get a lot of Superiors, and occasional blue drops off of named enemies. Making enemy faming the only viable route for PHOENIX CREDITS, then making that less worth doing, and then making those necessary for not only buying golds, but re-rolling them as well feels like a bit much.
I'm am not a huge proponent of exploitation and cheeze. However, them nerfing a lot of the loopholes isn't really doing anything but hampering people who aren't geared out yet and making more of an unneccessary grind just to keep people playing. . And DZ 30 is only getting more and more crowded, and people are using respawn loops. If other PCs beat you to it, you're kinda boned there. The "one and done" of the in-world bosses takes away that alternative.
Finally hit DZ 50, and without the severe punishment for dying (read: people being assholes and not even stealing your shit, just rouging for fun) I can buy some blueprints. Hoping the Tenebrae isn't absolute crap... named guns seem to be *worse* than their unnamed counterparts, and you can't even mod the color.

It's a'ight. But the generic (I think Cadeuceus is an ACR) with a decent roll could be better, pending play preferences.
But I say this as I'm trying to grind my way to the Tenebrae blueprint.
Haven't tested too much, though... I like my Sniper/LMG combo. I don't dig SMGs too much, but I see why people love them so much. Even with the broken talent neutered, the Midas is pretty letal with the default SMG crit bonus, and moreso with extra mods. Mine nearly has a 50/50 chance. Just isn't my cup of tea. And I'm not used to assault rifles anymore. Shotguns are garbage unless you're in a group and can afford to tank and have enough support on the reload times.

Recent Incursion update for the game ended up having a nasty side effect of deleting data for some players. Ubisoft revealed they managed to quickly fix the situation and will roll back affected players to previous states as a way to restore as much of the lost data as possible.
Ubisoft says that this was caused by a failure in the data synchronization process that instead corrupted the data. The developer will revert player saves back to the last uncorrupted save before the update in order to restore accounts. Therefore, any play time between the original Incursion update and the impending fix will be lost. This only applies to players who were affected by the bug; all others won't see any change or reversion.
http://www.destructoid.com/people-aren-t-losing-their-division-characters-after-all-355148.phtml
New update also allows the ability to trade gear with other players but still has some restrictions in place.
With the arrival of the Incursions update, Ubisoft relented ever-so-slightly. Players can now trade gear with one another. However, it's done in a way that still prevents re-sale on exterior websites like G2A.
Here's how it works: Division players can swap gear with one another under a tightly-controlled set of circumstances. Equipment can only be traded for up to an hour after it was initially picked up. Also, it's restricted to people who were in your group when the item was dropped, and to people who are in your group at the time of the trade.

Tom Clancy’s The Division may be getting a few wearable crossovers from other Ubisoft games, if you believe a set of images from a player who claims to have received the outfits due to a bug.
Three separate images show alternate Division outfits based on Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, and Watch Dogs. While Photoshop is a possible explanation, they all do look rather convincing. Reddit user Wooleyful claims that the outfits appeared in his inventory after the recent 1.1 update, which wouldn’t be too far-fetched considering some of the other glitches players encountered.

I sooooooooooooooo wanna run around as Sam Fisher. Goggles and all! I'll pay money just for that.
But yeah, noticed Ubisoft is sneaking in some product placement too. Picked up a pair of those Mechanix gloves in the Dark Zone yesterday. Had the Registered symbol next to them and everything.
They were green and were promptly scrapped for fabric.

This game is killing me with the Mechanix(R) Original(C) Covert Gloves dropping since the update Tuesday. Like, gee, I wonder what company inked a sponsorship deal with Ubisoft?
Addendum: Didn't even notice ClockShot just mentioned it. Meanwhile, I've had a screencap since my first pair hit on Tuesday. And I've been getting them often. Even a couple pair of golds.
Also, that "one hour to trade" seems to be timed according to your in-game login. If you still have 30 minutes on that item's timer, and you quit out and play again tomorrow, you can still give that item to one of the groupmates for what was left of that hour when you start the game up again.

Ubisoft considering punishing players who try to cheat or glitch their way past the current end boss of the game.
This week's Incursions update to The Division brought many changes to the game, including Falcon Lost -- the most difficult mission to date. It's considered end-game content, and Ubisoft won't even let people play it unless their entire group has achieved a minimum gear score. The boss is level 34, something that's found nowhere else in the game.
While many people have already beaten Falcon Lost, a good handful of them haven't done it legitimately. Shortly after the update, players figured out a way to glitch the end encounter. The process involves using the mobile cover skill to clip through a wall. Doing so prevents the game from registering that you're in the room, meaning your group can fire on the boss without it firing back.

How about they just fix the glitch?
And it seems "difficulty" is relative. I'd say more time consuming than hard (maybe on challenging, but likely more in the "everything can take more damage/deal more damage than you are even capable of dealing/taking). Falcon Lost feels more like a battle of goddamn attrition. I got to wave 5 of 15 after the APC appears and stopped playing because I wasn't feeling wave after wave of bullet sponges where I can only take out one at a time between dodging fucking missiles.
For a game that focuses on and emphasizes using cover, it makes you get out of it a hell of a lot (places with no significant cover/surfaces that don't count as cover that look like they should, flamethrowers going around corners, grenades/grenade launchers/APC turret pinpointing you while in cover, etc.), and punishes you for doing so.

Nah. They can't keep hotfixing left and right. Massive must have some bad testers because if they can't figure out all these bugs and glitches during their tests, and we the gamers can figure them out within a matter of hours after launch, something's wrong.
Between the race to 30 at launch, nerfing Phoenix credits, Bullet King, Russian Consulate glitch, Madison Square Garden boss, and now the Incursion cheese. The first 5 problems should have been discovered by launch.
Now IF Massive is smart, they'll go over the next big update with a fine tooth comb and make sure everything is right. No problem is they have to push it back a bit. Better safe than sorry.

And you'd think that the mobile cover trick would be corrected from jump, as they JUST patched that in to prevent the Police Station shortcut, if not others. Aside from the endpoint of the Refugee Camp mission, clipping walls is about the only useful application for the mobile cover.

New game breaking bug was discovered although pretty useful for players at the moment. Also a portion of the community at the moment is holding a contest to find the biggest game breaking bug in the game considering the amount that have been discovered so far.
Bugs in Tom Clancy’s The Division continue to stack up, with the most recent exploit allowing players to illegitimately increase their gun’s damage through the simple process of switching weapons.
This glitch is a little more technical than some of the others plaguing the game recently and it requires a primary weapon with the Competent talent equipped to it. This talent grants the weapon increased damage for a few seconds after using a Skill.
With the appropriate weapon equipped, players can go into their inventory and rapidly switch between the weapon and any other primary firearm. Once this has been performed for an extended time, leave the inventory and activate a skill to temporarily boost up the original weapon’s damage. Every time the glitch is used, it boosts up the gun’s post-skill damage to an even greater number, allowing committed players to deal obscene amounts of damage if used repeatedly.
One video that would appear to make use of the glitch reveals that it can be particularly potent against the boss of the Falcon Lost Incursion, with the player in the clip dealing over 142,000,000 points of damage with one shot.

A lead programmer at Sony who's been looking at Ubisoft's netcode for the game recently implied Ubisoft did a very lousy job with programming the game as the main reason why constant big glitches and issues with hackers are running rampant.
Believes its impossible for Ubisoft to fix the situation without a drastic code rehaul which he doubts is something the company would bother to do at least for the PC version. Console versions are more fixable but also would take a good amount of work.

Just broke level 20, haven't had time lately to get further into this but I'm slowly working my way across the map.
I still haven't managed to get any gear mods to work. I take it they attach to the specific clothing item (like the weapon ones) but I never seem to have anything that allows me to mod it. Any ideas? Probably something really obviously I'm just missing.
Tom Guycott
04-28-2016, 03:23 AM
They have to have mod slots. I was finding mods in abundance before I even ever found gear to slot them in, so it took a long while to understand what was going on with that.
Most gear (with the exception of gloves- they seem to not evennhave the possibility) has the possibility of dropping with an open slot. Some masks and armors may even have two. If there are zero mod slots, you don't even get the option to do so.
However, this is at the cost of some other bonus of that item. If you go up tomthe tech wing at the post office/base of operations, you can possibly re-roll a stat you're not to thrilled about into an open mod slot. I'd explain how, but at this point, there are likely tutorials that explain things way more efficiently.

True. I sort of made my own fun with a newb character that I refuse to level past 14 so that I stay in the low tier DZ. Interesting how that restriction injected some life into it, especially trying to claim a drop from the mob of elites that spawn around them, and the fact that the only purple gear I can get my hands on at that level is from DZ vendors.

Ubisoft announced a massive wave of bannings is going to happen during this week while penalties for cheating will be getting increased starting this week.
If players opt to cheat twice, they're permanently banned, with the first salvo serving as a warning. But Ubisoft has had it up to here with them, and is handing out the "biggest wave of suspensions and bans to date" across all platforms. Now, the grace period of suspension has been increased from three days to 14, and the publisher is going to be more vigilant when it comes to cheat detection.

Shouldn't be a surprise by now but more broken/buggy stuff was recently discovered in the game. This time involving daily quests and some players having problems accessing them.
One big one includes bugged dailies, which don't even appear for some players. For those who aren't aware, "dailies" are daily quests for MMOs and MMO-like games that players can repeat on a timer that usually provide endgame rewards, or reputation/tokens that work towards equivalent items. Ubisoft is apparently aware of the issue and is on it, but no timeline was given.

But the biggest news here is that now you can steal loot from the dark zone extractions by cutting the helicopter rope. Great, more bullies and jerks roaming the dark zone now.

It was cool at first, but it seems like they keep adding reasons to ENCOURAGE people to be assholes in the DZ. Why? I want to get good shit too, and I don't want to have someone who plays more than me decide to be a jerk and stop me from getting where they are, be it shooting me in the ass for fun while I'm busy killing NPCs, stealing my DZ money and all my keys in one swoop, and now being able to stop me from having a safe extraction? How's the HVT update, Tom?
Dunno. Didn't get a chance to track one down yet. It is nice that they give you a reason to finish clearing the outer area of the game (I didn't bother, as I figured they'd eventually raise the level cap and wanted to have stocks of untapped experience points laying around). I just wanted to get the weekly DZ business out of the way (30 extractions... and took care of the Rioters while I was in there) before anyone decided to test the extraction hijacking mechanic... which, by the way, extractions are now 60 seconds, not 30. And they stuck trunks at the DZ entrances, so you don't have to fly to the post office to clear it out or check out the "lockboxes".
Anyway, seems like they could have explained how to do the HVT a tiny bit clearer. I was under the impression I go to the people standing around at the post office... I guess those are the people who give you the REWARDS for completing the missions, and the missions themselves come from the safehouses in "cleared" (main and side missions) areas of NY on their respective mission boards.
Like I said, I'll try it out later.
I'll try it later.

How's the HVT update, Tom?
Now that I've tried it out and seen what it is all about, here is a *real* answer...
As stated before, you need to have done the main and side missions. This seems to be because it recycles the side mission locations for the Search and Destroy missions- the first part of HVT hunting.
When you visit a safehouse and get the S&D missions, each one you complete gets you "intel". This particular "intel" isn't throwaway collectable like drones and phones; these are essentially another different "currency" only usable with the HVT officers in the post office (standing almost across from the DZ vendor, between the Cannine Unit setup and the lootable Scavenger Crate). Guy on the left gives daily bounties, lady on the left does weekly. Daily bounties reset at the 8pm (eastern) reset.
Each bounty costs x amount in "intel". Daily bounties appear to be easier, and give PX as rewards, how much depends on which bounty (example, cheapest is 5 intel- 15 PX; highest is 15 intel for 25 PX). The weeklies are more expensive and "recommend group". They give more Phoenix Credits and/or skins and items... looks like the highest two give Teal items, but need to test the theory as I haven't tried for a weekly bounty.
Again, this is a great way to have shit to do besides DZ, especially since the devs are super intent on making it a breeding ground for trolls and paranoia. It gives a shot at shit without having to look over your shoulder for someone who lets you do the heavy lifting then cap you in the ass.
TL;DR - I dig it.
