Pretty much my most anticipated sequel ever.

I'm not feeling the trailer though.

Didn't find any of the trailer amusing or interesting. Will watch it at some point, but won't be going to see it in the cinema.

Pretty much my most anticipated sequel ever.

I'm not feeling the trailer though.

Looks funny... but I hear you... feels like they may have let the best gags fly in the trailer.

The MIA song surprised me. It didn't particularly add to the scene, was rather distracting.

Pretty much my most anticipated sequel ever.

I'm not feeling the trailer though.

Any excitement I had for a proper sequel was taken out into the street, shot in the head, run over by a truck and blown up by the fucking prequel that was released.
Had they done the sequel 10+ years ago instead of everyone involved feeling above it, that trainwreck abortion of a movie wouldn't exist. This is specially true of the Farrelly brothers who haven't managed a decent movie since 1998 (Theres something about Mary).

What have they done since then? I don't recall.

^Written and Directed
*Just directed

^Dumb and Dumber 1994
*Kingpin 1996
^Theres Something About Mary 1998
^Me Myself and Irene 2000 (Which is my least favorite Carey movie ahead of even The Majestic and Number 23)
^Shallow Hal 2001
^Stuck on You 2003
*Fever Pitch 2005
^Heartbreak Kid 2007 (which was a remake from the 70's)
^Hall Pass 2011
^Three Stooges 2012 (which should have resulted in them never working again ever if you ask me)

Doesn't seem that bad a pedigree, although I tend to give points when past work was very significant to the genre. You simply cannot ignore Dumb/Dumber or 'Mary.

Liked the first one. Looks awful going off the trailer though.

cannot wait to see it and feel the disappointment of how much better it could have been.

I didn't really care for the first one, though it has been around 10 years since I last saw it, so maybe my opinion has changed in that period; though, I've found some of Carey's work has not aged well, specifically the Ace Ventura films, but that might because I've (somewhat) grown-up since their release.

I doubt I'll see this film.

Dumb and Dumb3r? (http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Dumb-Dumber-3-Here-Latest-68044.html)

No way they do #3 because #2 will be a big fat flop.

I saw part II last night.

As a whole, I thought it was kind of 'meh.'

It did have a handful of solid jokes/laughs, but it wasn't nearly as good as the original 20 years ago.

'Dumb and Dumber To' was kind of weird in the sense that it felt like a '1995-ish' type movie. Like the movie in itself felt outdated. In this regard, it felt like the recent Ninja Turtles movie that came out this past summer.

Might not have time to go and see it in theatres, but the movie is on pace to have a $35 million opening weekend on a rumoured $40 million budget.... hard to call that a flop.... going in, I know it will not be as good as the original, but still should be good for a few laughs 20 years later....

So my buddy and his woman went last night and said they almost walked out of the theatre.

It's called Dumb and Dumber and is a 20 years-in-the-making moneygrab sequel, essentially. If you are angry while watching it, be angry with yourself. 6.6/10

I just read a review that said its not even as funny as the prequel that shall not be named

I'm hoping the reviewer is a moron

I saw it a few nights ago.... my stomach hurt from laughing so much....not as good as the original, but just enough of the feel of the first to make it enjoyable.... even a few rehashed lines from the original, which I enjoyed...definitely worth the watch if you loved the first.

I finally saw this, have to say I think it would have been better if they didn't try to just recreate the original premise. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't anywhere near as funny either.

My favorite part was them destroying the mutt cutts van in like 10 secinds and Sea bass after the credits.
