Now watching the AWA DVD they crap all over the idea of the Team Challenge Series but looking back at it, it was an interesting concept. There's a lot of guys not really doing anything right now in the WWE. Lets say 15 guys (or even 12 guys 3 girls) were broken up into three teams and completed against each other in various types of matches (Team Challenge Series had Body Slam matches, Battle Royals, Last Man Standing matches). This would all be for some grand prize at the end of a period of time (say now till the Royal Rumble). They could have tag teams separated on different teams, heel and faces working together even though they may be feuding (which is what's happening in the video between Buck and Jonnie) and could possibly make for a more interesting product overall.

So it was basically a stable wars with random stables?
Could be an interesting idea. Couldn't see WWE doing it ever, but I could see TNA doing it. Kind of similar to the World X Cup thing they used to do, but maybe having a wider array of competitors and not just the low/mid-card.

I think the wwe doing a World Cup with some talent from Japan and such is amazing
But no way they could do it.
The team challenged series was great until they blew the challenge ideas

Sure. I like the idea of WWE doing anything to get guys involved in something meaningful. If they can't write storylines for the undercard, something like this would suffice.

They sometimes have good undercard feuds going but they don't announce that the match is happening at the PPV until it happens at the PPV. They advance the story of the feud like the PPV match is just a regular match like would be on Raw or Smackdown.

Maybe WWE can get away with stealing the Bound For Glory series with all of the storylines TNA has stolen as of late.

They need to do another brand split. Raw can be for entertainment of a sporty nature. And the show that I tape can be for serious business rasslin. Hornswoggle will be on Friday Night Rassledown. He's good at the art of rassle for a midget.

I posted an idea for a WWE World Cup that would get a bunch of guys on TV for the period between Night of Champions and the Rumble. So I'm down for the concept in some form. Not sure the completely thrown together nature of the Team Challenge works as well for me.

So this concept is part Lethal Lottery, part World Cup?
Vince didn't invent any of it, so it'll never happen.

The idea sounds interesting but can't see the WWE doing it or staying that interested long enough for it to be good in the end.

If they were TRULY unspeakable things, Buck would still be a free man. Rockin' and rollin' all over the indy rasslin' scene.
