Nothing more mega man than falling through a pit lined with spikes.

That said, environments and enemies look kinda bland so far.

Capcom just needs to give this man the rights to Mega Man. Or they need to publish this and let him use the name. Something. They aren't doing anything with it and he is still the Dr. Light of fucking awesome. Just give me this game already.

I have a feeling this game will have a very hard mode.

Hope so. I attribute like 90% of my platforming skills to playing every Mega Man game when I was little. Was by far my fave series. Had every single entry on NES, SNES and PS1.

The other 10% comes from Castlevania/Donkey Kong Country/Mario

Edit: I'm going to have to add in an extra 50% of skill here for Super Metroid, too. And the GBA metroids. Really wish that Super Metroid HD screenshot was legit. Between this and said Metroid remake, I would be in heaven. I hear they are tapping Retro Studios for a new Metroid though, so I imagine it will most def be a 2d platformer of greatness. I have full faith in them after DKCR/DKC:TF. Playing Tropical Freeze right now and I love it.

Seems more in line western CGI children's cartoons. I would expect it to be more in line with anime. Great to see this becoming a brand, though.

There is a Japanese dub of the trailer, so it is an international show.

I'm surprised at the clumsy childlike character Beck seems to have. I thought he was going to be more like Megaman.

I'm curious if it's a tv or internet show.

It being international doesn't make it more in line with anime. What I mean by that is anime tropes, direction, and pace. This seems much too western. Cute, but very Dreamworks-y.

I know what you meant. I mentioned the Japanese dub incase you thought it was an America only take on it like the Megaman cartoon or something.

Edit: Dreamworks sucks.

It looks like it might as well be American.

And they are making the game.

Gameplay looks super smooth, as expected.

Backgrounds still look super bland to me.

Like the boss music though.

I hated that "dash absorb" move when they showed it off in the earlier videos but it makes more sense now, I guess its really just a replacement for enemies dropping pick ups. That life bar is going to take some getting used to. Otherwise, looking great.
