I think Chris Jericho was suppost to win that Battle Royal last night. He was probably suppose to bounce over the turnbuckle and land on the apron. However, he lost his balance and fell to the floor.

What does everyone else think?

I noticed that also. I dont think he was suppose to win it but I do think that he was suppose to stay in longer. Maybe be one of the final people in.

Well I'm also look at who won the Battle Royal as well. Kane is currently in a feud with Matt Hardy and Lita, and it wouldn't make sense that Kane is now after Chris Benoit as well.

As for Chris Jericho, his feud with Christian is for the most part over, and he seemed to have a big push coming his way. On top of that, I thought it was strange that Kane was down for a good 5 minutes near the end of the match, which he was probably suppose to be facing Jericho or something. :-\

Jericho's probably going to face Tyson at Bad Blood

I doubt that Jericho was going to win, but I'm almost positive that he was supposed to land on the apron when he fell out... That was really botched, and it didnt look like his fault, he was thrown over too hard... Kane has been apparently advertised around the Columbus area as facing Benoit for the title...

If Jericho really was meant to win the battle royal, Raw is screwed. Kane now has to juggle the love triangle angle and contend for the World Heavyweight title after his credibility has been shred to pieces by Undertaker and Edge. I don't see how Raw can turn back unless Jericho and Kane get thrown into a No.1 Contender match, where Jericho wins. Then Kane would really look like a jobber...

No, it was supposed to be Kane from the get go, as Xero noted.

I don't like the idea that Kane won. He is a jobber. Has anybody noticed his crowd reaction has declined for a long time. I change the channel when he's on because I know he won't entertain me. I don't think a Beniot-Kane match will be very good especially if it headlines the PPV. (I don't think it will cuz I thought I read there would be a hell in a cell match with HBK and HHH)

Anyone desperate for Jericho to win? Sure sounds like it...Who would you cheer for at Bad Blood? Jericho? Benoit?....I've been saying for a while now that there'd be no way in hell that Jericho would win because it'd be a face on face main event, which is pretty much taboo outside of a big four PPV. Those people who think Jericho would have lost but should have stayed in longer are probably right. It didn't seem right that Benjamin lasted longer than Jericho. And the finish was pretty lame too. THe final two should have been a face and a heel. They still had Benjamin in there, but HHH threw him out almost immediately after Orton was eliminated. So if Jericho had stayed in, It would have been Kane, Jericho, and HHH. HHH gets eliminated by Shawn Michaels, and we're left with Jericho and Kane. Jericho fights hard, but Kane wins in the end.

Like somebody said before, Jericho's fall looked pretty botched. It might be that he was supposed to last until the end.

BTW, how many of you out there are ready to buy your copy of Onimusha 3 or get yourselves a Nintendo. Have any of you not heard the office guy's "catchphrase" yet? I think we need to have another comercial break during the main event just in case somebody out there didn't catch all of the comercials...

Yeah,Kane wouldve been the winner even if J was going to stay in abit longer. I said it before and I'll say it again: Kane was second fiddle to HBK/HHH last night and Kane was the winner. Though I do sense a match next week for Jericho and Kane for the number one contender.

I think we have Mr Shane McMahon to thank for all of that. Kane was the biggest draw last summer after he lost his mask. Then the feud with Shane started, and basically killed off Kane's credibility, which I believe has also killed the crowd reaction. Since I too have noticed that theres really not much of a reaction anymore when Kane comes out.

I was hoping, and predicting that Jericho would with the over the tope rope battle royal and go on to be the number 1 contender. However, now that Kane has won the the title shot I think it's all for the better. And here's why.

Jericho is my second favorite wrestler in the WWE, and I would like nothing more then to see him as world champion. He's basically the most talented guy in the buisness all around (mic/ring work). However, having him face Chris Benoit in the main event of Badd Blood would simply be folly. First and foremost whomever is in the title match at Badd Blood, won't be in the main event, the Triple H/HBK Hell in a Cell match will take that honor. If and when Jericho gets another title shot, which is now well overdue, I want it to be the main focus of the card, not second fiddle to Triple H, and an incresingly boring Shawn Michaels.

The second reason that it's good that Benoit won't be facing Jericho is because the match will be face versus face, which wouldn't be so bad except they need to keep Benoit looking like the top face on Raw, putting him up against Y2J will expose the fact that Jericho is by far more popular then the Crippler. What the need to do is wait a few months and turn Benoit heel and then have him face Jericho at Summerslam in the main event for the world title and make Jericho look like a top guy again.

Kane v. Benoit will at least be good for now.

I really don't mind Kane facing Benoit, though he'll probably lose (maybe Matt can run in or something... or basically he can be about to win but get screwed so he doesn't look weak).

Even if Jericho was supposed to face Benoit, they could always fix it by having him challenge Kane in a match for the #1 contendership. It wouldn't be that hard to set that up, so it's not like the botch was the end of the world.

Last time I got hit in the balls, I got up a minute or so later... :-\

I missed the Jericho botch. I doubt he was going to win. BTW, I find that the crowd got REALLY behind Kane during that match. When Kane went off chokeslamming people in the ring, the crowd was behind Kane. Then I think they got louder when he turned around and met Batista.

However, I think that match made Kane look like crap. Not only was he down for at LEAST 10 minutes, but he didn't really win the match. The way everybody looks at it, HBK won the match and Kane gets to mooch off of it. However, they wanted Kane to look dominating because he was supposed to be on a 'high' that Lita said yes to his kinky sex question.

Meh, I'm a big Jericho fan, but I wasn't really all too surprised when he got thrown out. Probably why I missed the botch.

If you've been reading the news lately, it was reported WWE had been advertising Benoit vs. Kane and HBK vs. HHH.

Pre-zactly.

 @ "Jericho was supposed to win"

If it were that big of an issue, the officials would've "conveniently" found a way not to call Jericho's elimination.

Well yes aslong as you say Jericho sucks at main eventing you must be right yes? Given the fact he's only been given one shitty run which ended in jobbing to HHH at the main eevnts, you can't judge him yet on main event status. But then again whatever you say is right, yes?

If you're going to ramble off idiotic remarks, then atleast back them up with legitimate facts, or atleast legitimate opinions. Something more than "couldn't draw flies to shit." You sound like a ****ing idiot, especially when you're talking about a guy like Chris Jericho.

Who are you?
See I reckon you must be a work by someone who posts on this site to piss people off. Reasons being as follows:
1. You've got a pretty good general knowledge of the WWE
2. You have posted a shitload since you started
3. You're opinions don't make sense
4. When challenged you can't defend them
5. You generally start arguments by insulting people

Now then, all this would suggest to me that you are a work of fiction.
Following this logic, then it would suggest that the work of fiction comes from a wrestling fan who frequents this website, and knows how to get on peoples nerves.
So my question is this........who are you really?
What name do you normally post under?
Time to 'fess up and spill........
