Since I pretty much made this same thread not too long ago, I will go with one no one mentioned (I don't think) wrestlemania x-7, start to finish pretty solid. Also I tend to lean towards the royal rumble. Any of them

STD's are not helpful in any way, unless you like burning or the smell of ointment.

I jumped on the network from day 1 with the expectation I'd be able to watch RAW/Nitro/SD! shows in order, but it's not all wasted cause of PPVs showing live on there, but it is getting disappointing I can't start that journey yet.

Early 90s WCW has some gems in there, weird cross between old WWE guys and future stars

road doggy dogg
07-11-2014, 09:23 AM
WCW was an odd duck, had such a good undercard but some really god-awful stuff mixed in there as well

Innovator
07-11-2014, 09:28 AM
Even 94 was weird in the summer. You had the Hogan nonsense dominating the air time, but you also had Dusty and Dustin against the Stud Stable, Austin vs. Steamboat going on, and Vader/Sting colliding

Breakdown In Yr House (1998)

Really like the main event at No Way Out '98 too.

That one PPV with Hogan & Randy Savage VS The Alliance To End Hulkamania had a fantastic undercard with a terrible main event.

I rewatched the original One Night Stand, and it came across a lot better than I remember it originally, even knowing what eventually would go on to happen. Probably holds up better for nostalgia factor..the wrestling was OK but I wish they hadn't wasted the 20+ minutes on the invasion crap and just had longer matches but anyway.
Not to mention WWE was awful nice to not censor it to death. Laughed at Kurt's "your momma taught me how" retort to the You suck dick chants..kind of funny he'd end up in ECW towards the end of his WWE career.

Same, but it did rebuffer after a bit. Since it's free this week, everyone signs up to watch. Once the preview is done, and if you're a paying member, things will probably be normal (what constitutes as normal with the service, anyways).

That PPV would be in the running for the PPV of the decade of the 00s.

Legends Roundtable is great. They made a similiar thing this year for The Warrior and WrestleMania but it's not the same. Not sure if that will come back now that JR isn't working there.

Worst Dancer?

Pretty sad that they edited out the actual Rick rolling music from the Countdown show.

watching great american bash 98. benoit and booker t got that crowd hot in the opener. and this was after that best of 7 series. they worked really well together.

to be fair, the crowd would probably have been hot no matter what.

Benoit/Booker was an amazing feud. It was the first one for Benoit where it wasn't a blood feud. He had real trouble advancing because every feud became so personal (Sullivan and Raven.) This one was all about wrestling and being a champion. It finally broke one of his glass ceilings.

"We want Benoit!"

Meanwhile, he's already dead.

I watched OTE out of curiosity....they edited out all the owen hart stuff but you could tell the mood was different....everyone was extremely quite for the jeff jarrett entrances, didn't want to say anything and it was gross to see that blood in the corner of the ring. where he fell.

Innovator
07-13-2014, 11:40 AM
Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you guys, why do you want go see that again?

There's a reason the phrase "morbid curiosity" exists.

It's not like he fell off camera. They showed nothing except a Blue Blazer promo pre-taped.

The bloodstain wasn't from Owen, but a Brood bloodbath on HeAT. You can see it during the Snow/Holly match which is before the tragedy.

That makes me feel a bit better, I do believe that was the corner he fell. I really wish he did not. Fall on the turn buckle, if he was centered in the ring he might have survived...I wissh he didn't fall at all really

Not true, I was just watching it now after work. It worked fine until I went to adjust the volume, froze, I refreshed and then was not authorized.

QUESTION for "regular Network subscribers" : I've been a day-1 subscriber, and use it for PPVs etc etc. After the initial 6-month commitment is up and I'm on a truly month-by-month subscription, if I freeze my account at any point can I re-sub on a monthly basis? Or do you have to do the 6-month thing each time you activate?

Emperor Smeat
07-16-2014, 04:33 PM
6 month blocks only at the moment.

Same for renewing since there is no option for just getting a month.
