I have never seen a couple whose house been broken into do a press conference before.
I found it very weird. That's good work by Daniel Bryan though.

Ditto.
It's also made the news over here too, which is somewhat surprising.
A lot of news outlets here have the story on there websites, but I doubt it'll actually be reported on television.

It was a bit hard to see him start to well up when he was talking about the gift he got from his dad and what it said on it.
I can totally relate to that myself, as we've both lost our dads this year. I most likely would have given chase too, if I saw burglars running out of my house with anything associated with my dad.

Steph: An A+ player would have gotten both criminals.

That really sucks man, my condolences, sincerely. I couldn't imagine something like that; I'm extremely fortunate to have my Dad still around and I applaud your strength. Don't think I'm mentally strong enough to deal with something like that currently and hopefully I won't have to find out any time soon.

As someone who lost their father recently I'd like to say that I completely sympathize with both D-Bry and Cool King.
As for D-Bry choking this bastard out, well, I now have even more respect for him.

If Jericho ever does this I pray to the flying spaghetti monster that he shouts "ASK HIM" repeatedly until the police arrive.

Seems like it could be a work...OR, if not, maybe save it as a storyline idea. If Rollims cashed in before Bryan's return, they could just easily have those two face to face in the ring on RAW. Rollins being all like, "The Authority wanted you and your wife out of the picture for good, but obviously I didn't get the job done, so now I'll finish what I started..."
Leads to non-title match on RAW with Bryan being named #1 contender if he wins. Shenanigans or tomfoolery of some sort cause Bryan to lose by DQ or count-out and Bryan goes on the warpath against all The Authority's allies (Orton, Kane...) until Triple H finally grants him a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the next PPV.
Title chase ensues for 3 PPV's until Bryan finally wins the titles back at 2015 Royal Rumble PPV or Elimination Chamber.

1. Kudos to the folks who kept watch over thier house while they are gone. They are to be commended.
2. All WWE Superstars should take steps to protect thier homes. Especially if the husband and wife are on the road. If they know who you are and when you are not home, you are left open to getting robbed.
3. The WWE can step in and take steps to encourage other superstars to invest in a security system for their houses.
4. This should prove that professional wrestlers are no joke. The robbers got what they deserved. I just wish Brie could have got the other guy. Because he would have NO street cred.

What's with him being labelled as a badass for this? Chasing down burglars is basically a weekly chore round these ways.

Yeah, but he's famous. That's why people are making a fuss over this. Remember when LL Cool J caught a burglar? They made a fuss over that too.
The thing I took from it was that the guy was tired when Bryan caught him. Daniel was really modest in the interview and down played it. The media is blowing it up.
