Every segment on every WWE show should end with a Wyatt attack.

Raw should have ended with the end of Bo Dallas' streak.

This RAW seemed to contain a disproportionate amount of brawls/beatdowns.

Should Raw have closed on the huge climax of mundane Wyatt Family attack #243 over the announcement of a fucking McMahon stepping back into the ring?

Cena vs Cesaro should have ended the show, with Cena standing tall, staring down Heyman.

Yeah, that also would have been a pretty anti-climactic ending. It's not like Cesaro's a big deal that people actually believed could beat Cena to the point where they'd stick around to see it. Cena beating a midcarder and staring down a manager would not have been a better way to end Raw on a high note.

Hopefully they do a Stephanie training montage sometime before the Summerslam.

I'm with fan, it was a big segment that closed Raw. Everybody bitches here about storylines being dropped or not followed through on, yet this has been booked perfectly. From Brie quitting, to last week, and this week Steph who is in the Vince McMahon role these days being booked in a match at one of the big 4 PPV's. Who gives a fuck if the match is shit, Vince did fuck all everytime he got in the ring, yet if it was him vs Austin again everybody would be pulling their dicks.

I'm looking forward to it. And it could lead to Nikki turning on Brie and setting up the feud they've been talking about forever. Not saying it will, or I want to see it, but it's a possibility.

I understand the business of having Stephanie McMahon work a match at SummerSlam, and people seem fucking into it. More so than AJ Lee vs. Paige, which I am really hoping gets some good time and such. But I doubt Steph will be working this match if there isn't a plan on how it will be presented. I'm also suspecting the Nikki Bella heel turn to help Stephanie win.

Cesaro impressed the shit out of me this week. I'm annoyed that his whole relationship with Heyman went nowhere, but this sort of paid it some due. If I were booking, I'd have Cesaro issue an open challenge for SummerSlam that is answered by Sami Zayn, but I doubt that will happen. This card is looking like it is going to be a stacked one.

Not sure what is happening in the tag team division. It seems like RybAxel, The X-Men/Woodsmen and The Bizarre Ones are all alluding to wanting Tag Team Title shots. But I just feel like The Usos should be facing The Wyatt Family in a killer send-off match for their rivalry. How about a TLC Match, since SummerSlam hosted the first one of those matches? They could bill it as the "ultimate test for tag teams in the WWE." Boom. Let the other teams tear up the pre-show.

I was hoping that AJ Lee vs. Paige would take a less hokey approach. I really enjoyed Paige's heel turn last week, and it is so simple: Paige lost the Divas Title and has to deal with being second-fiddle to AJ within the Divas Division. That was all addressed, but I just feel like Paige skipping and the AJ's crazy stuff is missing the true essence of what these girls should be fighting about.

I really want to see Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt in an I Quit Match, but that might just be me. I hope we see a different side of Jericho as this feud progresses. I want to see Wyatt bring out the darker side of his persona. I'd like Jericho and Wyatt's promos to explain why I need to watch another match between the two when I saw Jericho beat Wyatt at Battleground.

Swagger and Rusev are likely continuing their feud. Prior to RAW, I was sort of hoping we'd move towards Sheamus vs. Rusev for the US Title and Swagger vs. Del Rio or something. The second one is a bit random, but Del Rio is a foreign heel that Swagger could have a great match with and beat. Rusev would win the US Title from Sheamus and then feud with Swagger in time for Night of Champions. Sheamus wasn't on RAW, so it'll be interesting to see how he fits into things when he gets back.

This would be my ideal SummerSlam card, although I've got no clue how to make it fit three hours:

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

Triple Threat Elimination Match
Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton vs. Kane

I Quit Match
Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt

Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Jimmy & Jey Uso (c) vs. The Wyatt Family

Divas Championship
AJ Lee (c) vs. Paige

Intercontinental Championship
The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

Open Challenge
Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn

United States Championship
Sheamus (c) vs. Rusev

Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

Kickoff Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match
The Bizarre Ones vs. RybAxel vs. The Woodsmen vs. Slater-Gator

Hardcore Match
R-Truth vs. Bo Dallas

I guess SummerSlam is not the place to realistically do a Zayn call-up, and that Cesaro could face Sheamus for the US Title. Alberto Del Rio then gets bumped and Swagger moves into his match with Rusev (likely a Flag Match that won't need much time).

So...

How much of the show actually featured wrestling?

Total run-time of this Raw was 2:13:00 approximately so that's about 45 minutes of commercials and about 40 minutes of wrestling from when the bell rings and ends but I included the Roman Reigns beat down. A few matches were actually just over a minute to a few minutes long.

Stephanie hardcore reminds me of her father lately and I guess Cena's response to when people say he can't wrestle is by always adding a bunch of new but awkwardly executed moves.

Noid, WrestleMania doesn't have 13 matches let alone SummerSlam.
