So, he could have made it for the Contract but didn't. This is like when Zack Ryder was the GM on Smackdown for a night and didn't do shit.

Oh look, Shisen Kopf making the exact same joke he's made in every Smackdown spoilers thread for the last 10 years. Can't stop laughing!!!

Has there ever been a match that had the Lumberjack stip added to it where people were like "FUCK YES! THAT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME!" and not "Really? That's what they're doing with this feud?"

When I was a kid I used to be get ridiculously excited for lumberjack matches. Jim Duggan vs Shawn Michaels for the IC Title on Raw. I remember looking forward to it all week.
I am not pleased with the stipulation for the Deam Ambrose - Seth Rollings match for SummerSlam. Of all the available stipulations, he chose a "lumberjack" match. Now it feels like a RAW main event.
Sandow found a new low. Losing to the guy that lost in the span of a commercial break on Raw.

Fucking terrible decision for the Ambrose/Rollins stipulation.
I'm sure the in-ring action will still be good, after all it's Rollins and Ambrose. But man, could they have picked a lamer stipulation? I wanted to see a street fight or something where these guys would be brawling all over the arena or something. Now they can't even leave the ring. Plus in general lumberjack matches are so played out. Face throws heel out to the face lumberjacks so he can get thrown back in. Heel throws face out to the heel lumberjacks so they can beat him down and throw him back in. Repeat a few times. Heel lumberjacks beat on the face a bit too long which leads to a huge brawl between the face lumberjacks and heel lumberjacks and in the midst of the chaos the match finishes in the ring.
On the bright side it's very possible they have a better match at Night of Champions since they're meant to be loading that PPV up. Still a bit of a bummer though.

Should have done a cage match if the idea was for Rollins to have no way of escaping before the fight.

I don't know now. I love the El Torito/Bo Dallas gif, but the Slater trying to hug the Gator is pretty awesome as well

Ambrose ripped the contract up on Monday so it wouldnt make much since to have a match for a contract you just destroyed

I was coming here to point out the things missing from the Smackdown! spoilers. However, I feel it is much more important to point out that The Outsiders are going to be on RAW next week. #nWo
also Sting.

Maybe this is all a test to see if Sandow can and will take things in stride before he moves on to big things.

Fuck Scott Hall though, seriously.

Take a guy, give him an easily relatable gimmick which he hits out of the park, put the MITB briefcase on him to give him a little shine, have him lose his cash in - which, for good or bad, sets him apart, job him to point where he is a joke, then see if he can handle bigger things!?
Sounds about right.
