* Randy Orton kicks off SmackDown with a promo talking about Roman Reigns. Orton says Reigns won a battle but not the war. He says tonight's main event against Rob Van Dam is an example of what he will do to Reigns next time.
1 - Seth Rollins defeated Jack Swagger by count-out after Rollins hit a Curb Stomp outside of the ring and Swagger was ko'd. After the match, Bo Dallas comes out and tells Swagger to keep Bo-lieving and don't be a Jack Zero.
* Backstage segment with The Miz asking Kane for another shot against Dolph Ziggler. Kane says it won't happen but puts Miz in a match with Roman Reigns tonight.
2 - Rusev defeated Sin Cara.
3 - Randy Orton and RVD went to a double count-out. RVD was being interviewed backstage when Orton attacked him from behind and they brawled to the ring. They just continued fighting outside the ring leading to the double count-out. Afterwards, Orton continued to beat down RVD and delivered a draping DDT from the barrier.
4 - Natalya defeated Paige in a non-title match. AJ Lee came out and distracted Paige by attempting to steal the Divas Championship. Natalya took advantage of the distraction and got the win via submission with a Sharpshooter.
5 - Stardust and Goldust defeated Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Rowan and Harper flipped out afterwards and beat down the Rhodes brothers.
* Jerry Lawler got in the ring to intro some clips of various WWE stars taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. After the clip Cole and JBL were behind Lawler with a giant keg of ice water and dumped it on top of him. You could tell Lawler was surprised and wasn't expecting it by his expression. JBL raised his hand afterwards and Lawler slipped and fell on his side. JBL helped him back up. The ring crew came down and dried up the mat.
6 - Roman Reigns defeated The Miz by pinfall after hitting a spear. After the match, Randy Orton came out and had a staredown with Reigns. They brawled to end SmackDown.
